Naruto Vol. 35 JPN (Nov 2006)

Yugito Nii (二位ユギト, Nii Yugito) is a supporting character of the Naruto series that was created by Masashi Kishimoto, It first began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in November 1999. She was later introduced during the Hidan and Kakuzu Arc story arc that began in Volume 35.

She first appeared in Naruto Volume 35, CH. 312 "The Creeping Threat!!".

Hidan and Kakuzu Arc

She is first seen in the manga and anime running through the sewers from some unknown persons, later revealed to be Hidan and Kakuzu of Akatsuki . When she enters a large room, where all the sewers seems to meet, she finally stops. After some bickering between the two Akatsuki members, she reveals that she intentionally led them there and activates an explosive tag on the tunnel behind them, sealing them off. Knowing that they are from Akatsuki, she swears upon her name that she cannot let them go, and she transforms into the Two-Tails. However, she is defeated by Hidan and brought to the Akatsuki lair by Zetsu for extraction, thus killing her in result.

Naruto Shippuden (2007)

The Naruto Shippuden anime series is the second direct adaptation of Masashi Kishimoto's original manga. This series is produced by Studio Pierrot and first began airing in February 15, 2007. Yugito's first anime appearance was in Naruto Shippuden Episode 71 "My Friend", which aired on August 14, 2008. Her character in the Japanese series is voiced by Mie Sonozaki, and the U.S. dub produced by VIZ Media is performed by Wendee Lee.
