    Souji Seta (瀬多 総司, Seta Sōji) is the protagonist from the Shin Megami Tensei series of games and specifically the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 video game for the Playstation 2. However, in the game the character is unnamed. It's the sixth game of the franchise and was developed as a murder mystery RPG with deep social aspects. It was developed by ATLUS in Japan, directed by Katsuro Hashino, and character design by Shigenori Soejima. It was released in Japan in July 10, 2008, and in the U.S. on December 9, 2008.

    The series was later adapted into a manga written and illustrated by Shūji Sogabe, and began serialization in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Black Maoh magazine on September 19, 2008. The name Souji Seta was added for the express purpose of needing a name for the character in the manga. His manga first appearance was in Persona 4 Volume 1 CH. 1 "Opening".

    Yu, along with the rest of the Investigation Team members, appears briefly in Chapter 1 of the manga during the introduction pages for the series.

    Persona

    Souji is able to utilize the power of the Fool and the World Arcana with the power of Izanagi. However, as a member of the Fool Arcana, Souji has the ability to switch Personas and their abilities. When the Fool and World Social Links become maxed out, his persona evolves into Izanagi no Ookami. His main powers include physical and lightning based attacks, but his abilities vary with each Persona he has.

    In the Persona 4 PS2 game, the hero (protagonist) is the only character the player has control over through the entire game. He's is voiced in the Japanese version by Daisuke Namikawa, and the English version is performed by Johnny Yong Bosch. Being of the Fool Arcana, the protagonist can summon and switch between enormous Perosna. He's the only character who can do so. Completing the protagonist's Social Link allows Izanagi to ascend to Izanagi no Ookami.

    Lord of Vermilion Re: 2 (ロード・オブ・ヴァーミリオン Re:2, Rōdo obu Vāmirion Re:Tsū) is the follow up to the Lord of Vermilion arcade-based fantasy card game developed by Think Garage and distributed by Square Enix. Collectible cards are literally placed onto the playing field of the arcade machine, and the character artwork for the cards is done by multiple artist. It as released in July 26, 2011 to arcades, and it included characters from other game franchises, such as Final Fantasy and BlazBlue. Persona franchise characters such as Yu Narukami, Aigis, and Elizabeth have cameos in this game. This collaboration is partly due to Square Enix assistance to Atlus in bringing Persona 4 to PAL territories.

    The game Persona 4 Arena is originally titled in Japan as Persona 4 The Ultimate In Mayonaka Arena. This is the only Persona game that wasn't exclusive to the Sony platforms and was also available for the X-Box 360. In Persona 4 Arena, the character was given the name Yu Narukami (鳴上 悠, Narukami Yū), the same name used in the anime. It's the first fighting game that Yu's appears in. The Japanese version is voiced by Daisuke Namikawa, and Yu's English voice was performed by Johnny Yong Bosch. It was released in August 8, 2012, The story is set two months after the events of Persona 4.

    The Investigation Team begin watching the Midnight Channel once more after Teddie's sudden disappearance. They discover he's holing a fighting tournament to find the ultimate Persona user. Chie uses his Persona, Izanagi, in combat.

    Persona 4 The Golden (2012)

    Persona 4 The Golden is an updated remake of the original Persona 4 PS2 game for the Playstation Vita. The hero remained unnamed in this game. It was first released in Japan on June 14, 2012. Graphics were updated and new animation was created with more voice work. Daisuke Namikawa reprises her role once more for the game, and Johnny Yong Bosch continues his role.

    Persona 4: The Animation (ペルソナ4アニメーション, Perusona Fō za Animeshon) is an anime adaptation of the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 video game for the PS 2. It is produced by AIC A.S.T.A. and Aniplex. The otherwise unnamed protagonist was given the name Yu Narukami for the anime. The anime began airing on October 6, 2011. The series lasted for twenty-five episodes, and the last aired on March 22, 2012. However, a final 'True Ending" episode was released with the final DVD volume in August 22, 2012.

    Yu's first anime appearance was in Persona 4 The Animation - Episode 1 "You're myself, I'm yourself". His character in the Japanese series is voiced by Daisuke Namikawa, and the U.S. dub produced by Sentai Filmworks is performed by Johnny Yong Bosch.
