* The new episode of Young Justice airing on Cartoon Network on Saturday, Sept. 29 is titled "Satisfaction."

This would pretty much be a season premier, I hope it's good. I actually talked to Phil Baborssa who does the animation on DeviantART, seems down to earth for a guy that does grade A animation

Hopefully the quality of story-telling will improve. As I see YJ right now, there is a lot of room for it.

I think you are on of the only people I have ever heard complain about the show from that angle......I have heard complaints about certain character details but never really the storytelling. I for one think it has a better, organized continuity and story than the New 52

@cattlebattle: Oh yes it does. There are definitely some things in that cartoon that are done better than in the comics. My major complaint with YJ's story is that it is trying to hard. It is being too serious for what it is. They spend too much time trying to wow their audience, that nothing comes as a surprise (although, I will give that I was mildly surprised Aqualad turned out not to be bad, because he was so good at it, but it was cliche).

And they spend way too much time on teem drama. It is played out. Superboy and MM should move on.

The only thing that cartoon is good for now (to me) is character inclusions. I can't wait for Static.

It'd be awesome if they have the original team return and work together again like in season 1. I hope they add more battles for Nightwing.

While I don't agree that the show takes itself too seriously, I do agree with your point with all the surprises, It seems every episode ends with some bad guy or someone like "you thought we lost...but we really won haha". I remember Greg Weisman pulled that stuff all the time when he wrote Gargoyles....it must be his "go to" writing point..

I really didn't give a crap about Superboy and Miss Martian either, it was just nice to see their relationship develop as their character details makes it extremely funny, being Miss Martian is really something like 48 years old and really a big monster, and Superboy was like 3 months old in season 1....just an odd paring.

AHHHH! CAN'T WAIT! So, so good. I love this show so much, I'm going to start picking up the comic next time I go to my LCS. So hopefully we'll see more of Cheshire and Lian. Still "WHERE'S GARTH????".

I want to see more consolidation this season, less expansion. Of course there are other characters I'd like to see included in the show, but they just went through this big expansion in the last break, they need to explore those characters first.
