Young Justice started as another legacy team consisting of a generation of sidekicks younger than the original Teen Titans lineup. Like the Teen Titans, they would eventually increase membership beyond sidekicks and make a name for themselves beyond their mentors.
You truly deserve a medal for uploading this episode. I bet Miss Martian is really regretting abusing her powers now. And wow, I got hyped for this episode for Static and he didn't do anything useful, didn't even get a single line. Oh well there's hope for future episodes.
Edit: This show just got real. I ain't gonna lie. I knew Aqualad would eventually get mind-effed when Miss M got her hands on him. I just hope he recovers.
Why did Cartoon Network postpone "Before the Dawn" when the episode ends on the perfect moment for a postponement? All these intriguing questions are set up and wasted:
1) Is Kaldur brain-damaged? If so, is it permanent?
2) How has her recent revelation affected Miss Martian?
3) Will someone, if not Miss Martian, expose the arrangement between Nightwing and Kaldur?
4) What stake does G. Gordon Godfrey have in the Reach?
The marketing strategy at Cartoon Network struck out on this one(?)
Just a side note: Batgirl really knows how to be on control. Bossy bat can edven give orders to Nightwing hehe.
Anyway, as I said, that episode was the best of both seasons and I'm pretty sure it'll only get cooler from now on, It'll suck to wait till January, but at least we know we'll get to see good stuff.

Yeah...right now M'gann is just shocked, so she won't do anything.
I think it also depends on the invasion...if everything happens too fast, I guess she won't have time to argue with them. Especially because she knows it would shake the team. No one needs that while fighting bad aliens.
Wonder if Phil Llamar is reprising his role as static. Those grunts he made sounded an awful lot like his voice in his old tv series.
He actually confirmed in an interview during a podcast a while ago that he isn't unfortunately.....but he is voicing the Negotiator and of course voices Aquaman.
So I'm guessing this was their way of letting everybody know about their plan as soon as Kaldur joined the light? If it was it was a HUGE life risker. And I know both the team and the league will be pissed beyond belief should Miss Martian recover from her shock and tell everybody about Nightwing's secret plan. Especially Aquaman and Green Arrow, because now there's a chance Aqualad might not fully recover from Miss Martian's mind rape and I know that there's a good chance that arrow could erupt when he finds out that Artemis' death was a hoax.
Yeah. And what would be a real kicker once everybody finds out about the secret plan is for Black Canary to chew Nightwing out about it. I can picture her reminding him about the therapy session they had way back in season 1, where he said he didn't want to become batman. And then she coldly tells him that he definitely is doing the exact type of shit Batman would do and that he indeed IS becoming like him. And to twist the knife even further, Batman said in season 1 that he doesn't want Dick to become like him at all. Ouch.
Well I am fairly sure Batman does know about what's going on (he is the worlds greatest detective after all). And you do have a point about Aqualad being leader so maybe he was the one who came up with the plan. But I guess we'll have to wait for a future episode to explain things further.
I think Kaldur knew eventually that this was happened....Nightwing didnt show any sudden reaction to hearing Kaldur getting "defeated"....
I guess it was more of an episode's default. He more than anyone should be worried about what happened and what M'gann found out.
Even though...he doesn't know she goes that far...maybe he doesn't think she saw anything.
@Black_Claw: I can see most of these things happening except that... I don't think Batman would allow a plan that could put so many things in danger. Keeping secrets, yes, coming out with such a plan...still don't see him doing it.
Anyway, everything is possible.

That was an excellent episode. The Miss Martian/Kaldur segment had me gripped. Also it was good to get more of a look into Bart's future and what happened. Along with the crash/mode stuff. Overall it got me extremely excited to find out what happens next. I agree with another poster, this was a MUCH better cut off point than last week.
Plus Static shots everywhere. It made me think he was going to show off some powers in the Reach's vessel but I know his origin so it would've been a little ridiculous.
I really want to know what's going to happen with the info MM has now. She's probably going to be "broken" for awhile and of course Connor is gonna chew her out again. Also Artemis's disguised voice is REALLY REALLY ugly

Why would you assume that?? If anything they are likely going to pull the episode from Itunes and we will have to wait until January....always assume the worse with Cartoon Network appparently

i just hate with a passion that cartoon network is doing their best to make this show get cancelled. now that we've gotten three episodes in since the three month break, it's supposedly not going to air any new episodes until january. that channel has become utter garbage in the past 7 or so years. it's dumb that it started premiering in january 2011 and we're not even halfway through the second season.
