It's not like it wasn't possible. Nobody just ever took the time to actually try and make the characters cool. Except maybe Justice League Unlimited who briefly made the Wonder Twins, Apache Chief, Black Vulcan, and Samurai pretty cool

Personally, I still prefer the Ultimen.

I like the fact that Longshadow (Ty) isn't just a male Giganta, and is all "mega energy giant." Static is already one of the more likeable characters in the whole series after 1.5 episodes of character development. I wouldn't surprise me if Blue Beetle and possibly Green Beetle are faking obedience to the reach to get on the inside. There have been enough twists already, nothing surprises me anymore.

I like the new powers. Tye Longshadow has a sort of mental giant form. Asami "Sam" Koizumi has hard sound powers used in a similar way to the old wind powers of Samurai. Eduardo Dorado has the old teleportation power of El Dorado. Virgil Hawkins Static still has magnetism and electricity powers. The cartoon has no version of the Super Friends Rima Jungle Girl from south america.

In comics and cartoons, many complete circles usually means hard sound. Asami "Sam" Koizumi power could also be a type of telekinesis. In the cartoon, it is used for propulsion only like Cannonball and the aura is probably protecting her when she uses herself as a cannonball. One example shows she can also manifest the propulsion power from the front in addition to propulsion from the back. The giant mental form of Tye Longshadow can also be interpreted as a telekinetic construct.

The Ultimen were great because they had Wind Dragon & The Shapeshifters. And it helped that they had a much better storyline.@BlackWind said:

It sucks there wont be a season 3. I bet if they had more time we would of gotten to see a bad ass version of the wonder twins.

To my surprise, I ended up liking all the kids. Well, except for the bald snitch.

Eduardo is my favorite!

So aggravating that they're killing this show! In one episode they managed to introduce a new set of distinct characters with interesting personalities!

Just like how it was in Static Shock, Uses electromagnetism against the small villains and electric blasts against the powerful ones.
