Young Justice did the impossible

THEY MADE SUPERFRIENDS CHARACTERS COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! I didn't think that was even possible!!!!!

@Smart_Dork_Dude: When Weisman has Flamebird defeat the anti-monitor, then I'll say they did the impossible

It's not like it wasn't possible. Nobody just ever took the time to actually try and make the characters cool. Except maybe Justice League Unlimited who briefly made the Wonder Twins, Apache Chief, Black Vulcan, and Samurai pretty cool

Define "cool"

Cool: Interesting, likable, not walking stereotypes that make whoever happens to be apart of the race they represent cringe when they seen them.

I'm 23!

Personally, I still prefer the Ultimen.

#10 Posted by Nightwing4 (364 posts) - - Show Bio

I like the fact that Longshadow (Ty) isn't just a male Giganta, and is all "mega energy giant." Static is already one of the more likeable characters in the whole series after 1.5 episodes of character development. I wouldn't surprise me if Blue Beetle and possibly Green Beetle are faking obedience to the reach to get on the inside. There have been enough twists already, nothing surprises me anymore.

I like the new powers. Tye Longshadow has a sort of mental giant form. Asami "Sam" Koizumi has hard sound powers used in a similar way to the old wind powers of Samurai. Eduardo Dorado has the old teleportation power of El Dorado. Virgil Hawkins Static still has magnetism and electricity powers. The cartoon has no version of the Super Friends Rima Jungle Girl from south america.

Thank freaking god Virgil's powers are seemingly electromagnetic.

They weren't really sound powers. It seems she just manifested a coil, the original Samurai use to manifest a tornado around his lower half to propel himself, its just more modernized

In comics and cartoons, many complete circles usually means hard sound. Asami "Sam" Koizumi power could also be a type of telekinesis. In the cartoon, it is used for propulsion only like Cannonball and the aura is probably protecting her when she uses herself as a cannonball. One example shows she can also manifest the propulsion power from the front in addition to propulsion from the back. The giant mental form of Tye Longshadow can also be interpreted as a telekinetic construct.

Agreed.

Also, Ty was supposed to be Apache Chief, right? I wasn't totally sure, but if he was, I like the way his powers worked here.

The Ultimen were great because they had Wind Dragon & The Shapeshifters. And it helped that they had a much better storyline.@BlackWind said:

Nope. He can send electric blasts also.

I didn't know who those other characters were supposed to be. good work

It sucks there wont be a season 3. I bet if they had more time we would of gotten to see a bad ass version of the wonder twins.

To my surprise, I ended up liking all the kids. Well, except for the bald snitch.

Eduardo is my favorite!

Can't wait to see if they get uniforms

XD

That would be AWEsome, and Longshadows powers look way cooler than Giant-Mans power to grow big.

Well, South America is already represented by El Dorado...right? I thought I heard his father say they were from Argentina.

#22 Posted by Smart_Dork_Dude (2638 posts) - - Show Bio

@X9: Well El Dorado was switched around from being Mexican to South American

#23 Posted by StMichalofWilson (3833 posts) - - Show Bio

Well they were cool in Justice League Unlimited, but that was a different time...

Well I can't wait for another clash between the Justice League(well Young Justice) and the classic Superfriends characters!!!

just kidding

#25 Posted by BlackWind (6358 posts) - - Show Bio

@Jnr6Lil: That isn't what I meant. I was saying I'm glad he isn't simply throwing lightning since he is a Black Vulcan nod and that his powers are magnetic and electric.

@mk111: In defense of the bald snitch, I like to think he's going through some major guilt issues after leveling a city and nearly killing Flash.

So aggravating that they're killing this show! In one episode they managed to introduce a new set of distinct characters with interesting personalities!

Just like how it was in Static Shock, Uses electromagnetism against the small villains and electric blasts against the powerful ones.
