The fate of Supermartian

The anchor romance, aka the one that started first and is sort of the most stable, may have to endure its greatest challenge when Superboy's comic book love interest, Wonder Girl, appears.

Greg may change some things, but her romance with Superboy isn't like the one he had in the comics with Dr. Roquette, it is a long standing one. Its as much a part of her character as Robin loosing his parents or Superboy having Lex Luthor for a 'mother'

Will Megan and Cassie end up going into the ultimate catfight? Will Superboy have more to worry about than an alien invasion, and likely more dangerous (AKA, a scorned metahuman teenage girl)? Will Greg take after my perverted thoughts and make some sort of compromise (Megan does claim to have a lot of siblings, and the only humans I know with that many kids are members of the FLDS, or the Fundlementalist Mormon types, aka the Polygamist mormons that the other, not polygamist mormom majority are too often compared to....he he)

Or will it be nothing and it would just be on Fanfiction where this conflict emerges?

Ugh, I really, really, really hope not. I don't know what people's obsessions are with love triangles, really. It's just so unnecessary in a show like this, especially when we've already had three love triangles (Kid Flash/Miss Martian/Superboy, Miss Martian/Superboy/Artemis, and Aqualad/Tula/Garth). Do we really need another one just for the sake of cheap "drama"?

Okay, to be fair a hundred odd ones aren't good, but a good one or two are. Kid Flash and Artemis had one sided bits with the Supermartian duo, and the Atlantean drama was one episode only.

Something where Superboy could be equally pulled either way happiness wise is what I want; like what would happen if Barbara and Starfire were after Dick at the same time, where either could work (And would fuel a huge fanfiction shipping war), not something rather one sided like say, Cat Grant and Lois Lane for Superman or, dare I say it...the human girl, the vampire who sparkles and the Indian werewolf whose name I do not want to say

I just find love triangles to be horribly overused. For once I'd like to see well enough left alone. Wonder Girl doesn't need to be involved with Superboy. It's not some commandment of DC or something, and certainly not of an alternate universe. Don't see why she can't be involved with someone else if they really want to put everyone in a relationship (which they really seemed to like doing judging from the end of last season...).

You forgot the Artemis/Kid Flash/Miss Martian love triangle. Or is that more of a "she liked him, while he liked another, while the other liked someone else!"

I liked Superboy and Wonder Girl in the comics and I like Superboy and Ms Martian in Young Justice. 
They should not force a change the Young Justice especially when it works.

I wouldn't want to watch it. The reason is because it seems like people see this coming and this would be the thing to do. I hate the idea of love triangles. I just want to see Wonder Girl (Cassie) stand out her on own. I don't need to see her character defined by her relationship with another character.

This question is answered IMMEDIATELY in the premiere.

I think a lot of people will be disappointed, I personally was shocked...

Is it wrong to hope that Queen Bee did some mental alteration, one of the two got replaced by a clone or just something to SALVAGE SUPERMARTIAN!

I don't know why you guys think it was so random and weird that Miss Martian and Superboy broke up. It's been FIVE long years, it's completely normal. Interests change, relationships end. And it seems to have been a recent break up (Connor is still mad at it) so they were together for like... three or even four years? That's good enough isn't it?

Just give a chance for the new couples that might be coming.

Tana Moon... gosh, this thing is just getting more and more complicated.

But what is it with Connor that I simply can't see? The guy is not nice, not the smartest, not the one with most skills...he's good looking but, hell, almost every superhero is :P

BUT, if you're a guy you picture yourself being disputed by two girls and vice-versa. No one wants to have concurrence in that sense. Why did I write that? Well, I think it's an answer to what you said about this issue.

Well, girls may like though guys but he's more like the grumpy type than the though one.

Though I do believe it's overdone, In the books Ginny never loved Harry for his wealth.

But yes Miss Martian could become a Ginny.

i would love to see that since hey teenage love triangles add some good ass drama but this is a different universe i don't see it happening.

Not sure if Connor and Cassie are on the same vib to fall in love. Not yet. He's technically a few years older than her and he's much more mature now, while she's still... goofy/happy/fangirl. (not a critic, I think she's a sweetheart, I just don't see her personality being attractive to Connor right now)

I don't see him and M'gann getting back together, though.

Well...I don't know if there's going to be a love triangle. I've never read the comics or anything, I've only watched the show...but, from what I can guess right now. Connor is going to confront M'gann about her dark behavior, and then they're going to spend the season getting back together. I feel like the first three episodes made a pretty big deal about their relationship, at least a big deal for a sub-plot. Also, I think the writers would have already given Connor and Wondergirl more interaction if they were going that route. They tend to introduce relationships right away. (ex. M'gann and Superboy, M'gann liked him right away, Artemis and Wally bickered right away, M'gann kissed whatshisname right off the bat at the beginning of season 2)

I do like M'gann and Connor together, though :)

I think we should just have Wonder Girl and Bat Girl together ;D nuff said.
