They totally can. Kaldur is the first Aqualad in this world, not Garth. Zatanna is on Young Justice instead of Justice League. I see Cassie taking the mantle of Wonder Girl instead of Donna the exact same. I am just happy that they have introduced a Wonder Girl at all. It sucked that we had to go through the first season without her. I am totally excited to see Cassie kick some ass.

Where exactly are people getting confirmation of Static being in season 2?

They explained why Garth wasn't aqualad and Kaldur isn't Brightest Day aqualad, he's just simply based off him. And Zatanna being aged makes sense because Zatarra was placed in the league.

Its From an Interview although Co-Producer Brandon Vietti also talked about a character bringing his career full circle and since he got his animation start on Static Shock that started the speculation.

I am actually really excited to see Blue Beetle and Barbara. I always found BlueB to be a underrated Hero. So hopefully he gets to flex his muscles as a hero. As for Barbara, she is going to bring some interest love triangle between her-Robin-Zatana.

I am really looking forward to the exploration of Connor's relationship with Supes.

Its not that they are made to be negative, its that we generally see those voices and think drugs...or NBA players

About the love triangle Babs-Dick-Zatanna theory, I'm not sure if I'd want Barbara to show up just to be part of another love mess, She deserves better than that, as a skillful crime fighter and interesting character. And I also don't see Dick's thing with Zatanna as sth that serious... he's 13. I don't expect him to get serious about anyone with that age :P

@krspaceT: I have nothing against Rocket! i just hate her voice actress, i think she does a horrible job.

@X9: definitely agree, she deserves better than to just be a character to fill in a love triangle story...i hope she has a big role in season 2

I never said I didn't like it because of the "bad city" accent. I think the girl who does Roberta on Cleveland show would've been better. She sounds too old, she doesn't sound like a teen at all.

Rocket I can see that but Static is a science expert that is not an inner city stereotype.

Static is the character who most reminds me of my childhood :P I remember watching his animated series on saturday mornings, as many other children, and that's why I can't dislike him.

He's quite popular arround here, though many people (like myself) don't read his comic not to "spoil the fun it had when they only knew Static by TV":P It's always a lighter version...

Anyway, I'd like to see him in YJ

Though Virule.....might be salvageable.

This show is really good I just hope the team doesn't get over populated with teen heroes. If they do some of the older kids should go off to form the Titans. That would be epic!
