    Young Justice

Team » Young Justice appears in 269 issues.

Young Justice started as another legacy team consisting of a generation of sidekicks younger than the original Teen Titans lineup. Like the Teen Titans, they would eventually increase membership beyond sidekicks and make a name for themselves beyond their mentors.

So I`m reading all over the board about how people hate the changes to the Young Justice tv series.

Yes most of us are aware that the show is completely inconsistent to the comic book, its not even little changes but  drastic changes.
I remember watching a video with the creators and they said they were not following the comic book but doing something different. (If anyone know what video I`m talking about maybe post up the link.)

I myself am a big fan of the original Young Jusitce comic series. I always wonder why they have to change up an already good thing anyways... lets all just sit back watch, relax and see what happence, will we like it or not.

For all you crazy HARD-CORE fans that can`t handle these changes just predent its one of those ( Earth-123456 ) variations thats have nothing to do with the rest of the DC Universe

I have read the comics and I don't mind. If you want a super-faithful adaption of what you read in the comics you should stick to reading the comics and stop whining, I'd say.

there has never been a super faithful television adaption of a comic book that worked...it's really not possible..and what creator wants to just redo someone else's work?

Wow I`m actually surprised to see soo many of you saying that you like the show, I`ve only really seen people complain about it. I just assumed everyone would have started telling me off for not being a true fan-boy or something.

Anyways i`m happy to see a lot of people seem to REALLY like the show!

@Primmaster64:  Well I spoke with Dan Fraga (Artist for Kid Supreme) he told me Rob Liefeld (The Creator of Kid Supreme) basically decided to start up other projects and just dropped  the Kid Supreme comic books series. Eventually Alan Moore just wrote out Kid Supreme from the Supreme storyline.

So if you have Kid Supreme Issues 1, 2 and 3 you can find one more issue with him in it Asylum issue 9.

    I hope that was helpful.

I didn't read the comic, but the biggest compliant I hear from the readers from the show is that it isn't the same line up....... so what? Since when have series had actual 100% accurate team structures? Personally I like that they are having a fair portion of characters that have yet to be shown to the wider non comic reading public appearing. I also really like the show. A lot less childish than I thought it was going to be which of course makes me happy.

Um... the cartoon is based on Earth-16... so there is no pretending necessary... Even so, all cartoon universes are different from the comic universe, so it's not really an issue.

@Hunter114:  LoL someone just posted saying it was Earth-17 so which is it Earth 17 or 16... LoL the main reason I posted this comment was because everyone was complaining that it did not follow the regular comic book series, and as you pointed out None of the cartoon universe never are the same as the comic book universe, so the point was just to tell them instead of complaining just watch the show, if you don`t enjoy it don`t watch it.

Personally I think there is a difference between complaining and pointing out the differences. Most of the people seem to have been complaining instead of just pointing out the difference. Some difference are good and others not soo good but i can`t wait to see what the writers do with these changes.

    Theres my two cents lol

@Primmaster64:   I`m not really sure what you mean... do you mean the story lines cause you can`t be talking about the characters.
Teen Titans cartoon had Cyborg, StarFire, Raven, and Beast Boy which were never a part of the young justice team.
Young Justice, none of the characters have ever been apart of Teen Titans in the 80`s. Only Dick Grayson (as Nightwing not as Robin) occasionally Jason Todd showing up as Robin helping out the team back in the 80`s.
I`m not really sure what you are referring to.

I personally have no care how accurate it is anymore. i am starting to let that go.....kinda. i still refuse to acknowledge that origins movie. WHOSE NAME WE WILL NEVER SPEAK! ..... but to me i see it as a benefit if it gets new readers into the series and that being a cartoon would be great if we can get new younger readers into the comics. i think right now DC is running a Cartoon Network series of Young Justice that runs along with the cartoon which i think is great. but as long as they don't get carried away.

I don't know where Primmaster heard that but like you said the character were different and I've read the Young Justice series and there wasn't a single storyline arc that was similar to the Teen Titans cartoon

it seems that DC has already screwed up their multiverse numbering and Earth-16 has been used twice...the Earth-16 of the Young Justice cartoon and the Earth-16 featuring the Superman Junior

it does seem like YJ is being written like a Teen Titan comic as opposed to a YJ comic but the TT show doesnt seem like a YJ comic, maybe with the not-being-sanctioned-by adult-supervision but pther than that i don't see it
