I just realized that the main Justice League in Young Justice are the same ones from JLU. Although there isn't specific evidence but they could be connected. I hope they are because it would keep the DCAU thing going. How do they know what a boomtube is?
Young Justice
Team » Young Justice appears in 269 issues.
Young Justice started as another legacy team consisting of a generation of sidekicks younger than the original Teen Titans lineup. Like the Teen Titans, they would eventually increase membership beyond sidekicks and make a name for themselves beyond their mentors.
Is Young justice and JLU in the same universe
It's already been established by the show's creators that they don't share continuity. Young Justice is in Earth-16, while the DCAU is in Earth-12.
Any similarities between the teams are coincidental, and their continuities are clearly different. In the DCAU, Justice League has more members, they have a Metro Tower post-JLU, and there are differences in character portrayals (Robin, for instance).
I assume that they're aware of the Boom Tube from past experience. It's a safe assumption to assume that the YJ League has had encounters with the Fourth World before.
@lilben42: Not really. I mean, the DCAU was great, but now it's time for something else. Personally? I hope we get a new Justice League cartoon after Young Justice, maybe set in the future with the Team being actual members of the League and ARE the League.
@Smart_Dork_Dude: I don't just because it would be on CN and I don't want another thing to get canceled. But they shouldn't make a Justice League cartoon and make them the league because they minds well just make that Young Justice season 3. If they started a new DCAU I would be ok with that but you know Green Lantern is set in the DCAU I think.
@lilben42: Hey, Young Justice season 3 is Young Justice season 3. As for Green Lantern, no it isn't. Bruce Tim is behind it and they're using his style, but it's not a part of the DCAU. How do I know? First of all Hal Jordan is in it and only showed up briefly in one episode and was never shown again which was due to a time warp. In the newest episode, they said John Stewart is the newest Green Lantern on Earth. Kyle Rayner hasn't been mentioned and in the DCAU HE was the first human to become a Green Lantern, even if he was fused with Hal Jordan in that he had his hair color and origin
JLU had more differences with the comics bec. they had John Stewart hook up with Shayera. The Justice League of Young Justice is more similar to silver age or Timothy Truman Hawkworld with the usual thanagarian katar hol and shayera as a pair. There are similarities in the 2 cartoons since more members have been added to the Justice League like Captain Atom, Captain Marvel, Black Lightning, Doctor Fate, Icon, etc. Young Justice has its own peculiarity in that Doctor Fate is the former Zatara.
@lilben42: Ya probably and I hate how she sounds in young justice, and she's not as hot as her other counter parts too.

no they arent.
1. The DCAU JL was formed AFTER Dick Grayson became Nightwing. Whereas the YJ JL was around for at least 3 years before Dck became Robin
2. The Justice League roster is too different. The founding roster of the Young Justice JL is the original one from the comics.
3.Zatanna is a teenager/Young adult in Young Justice whereas the DCAU Zatanna was only slightly younger than Batman
4.The green martians are still alive in Young Justice whereas they were all wiped out in the DCAU
5.The Hawks a=in Young Justice are the silver age/thanagarian versions whereas in the DCAU Hawkman was human and Hawkgirl was thangarian
6.in Young Justice, Hal Jordan is an Active GL whereas in the DCAU, he had been in retirement for years
7.In Young Justice, Barry Allen is the Flash and is a JL founder, in the DCAU, Wally was the Flash and a founder
there are even more but i dont feel like listing them all right now.

Thats not the main Justice League thats on trial in YJ, and they're not the same as the ones in the DCAU. The main/founders in YJ are the SIlver Age founders Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, MMH, Aquaman, Barry Allen, and Hal Jordan. The main/founders in the DCAU were " " plus Hawkgirl, Wally West, and Jon Stewart (replacing the former respectively). The Leaguers currrently on Rimbor are a homage to the DCAU team; with the Lanterns, Hawkman, and Icon accompanying them. You'll notice that when G. Gordon Godfrey's show airs, the logo is the same as the JLU logo.

Exactly. Zatara didn't exist as a member of the JLU. Dick Grayson is still Robin in JLU though.

actually, Hal was. he just was never shown until JLU. Dwayne Mcduffie stated in an interview that Hal was a GL years ago but retired, the John took over and then Kyle became one. in JL its stated that John referred Kyle t o Katma tui for training.
