Actually, it makes sense for him as a character after the one year time skip. It was either that or him ruling Atlantis, but I think in terms of improving his character this may work, if its not actually going to be permanently.

Also, I don't think we have to use spoilers, considering that the thread has SPOILERS in its title.

I just really liked Aqualad as a hero, and to see him become a villain would be rather upsetting. If it does happen, I hope it's just a cover (like the Light infiltration theory), or it's temporary.

Eh, people will be more inclined to read it if it says theories, if they actually come to fruition then they will be spoilers...semantics all in all.

That's not really true due to the fact that they're theories and there's nothing substantial to say that they will happen. If they do happen, its because they were "highly likely".

As this is like my 6th YJ related thread with spoiler information I have learned the hard way people love to yell at other people about things being spoiled...better to be safe than sorry

I know, I'm telling you this as one of those people. The only reason I even cam here is because I ended up reading some of the info from your profile and couldn't resist, really.

Well, OP just doesn't want anyone telling him to go to hell, I think he's already had enough of that.

As do I, but its most likely to be temporary than anything.

@The_Tree: I think it would make Aqualad more interesting... he's been the boring goody goody two shoes generic leader imo...he doesn't really have as much personality as some of the other main characters... having him fall for a bit makes him more human and interesting in my opinion... he was a good character before, but i think this will only make him better.... if its true...lol

I think the whole "aqualad falling" thing is really plausible. I mean the writers have a lot to play around with because of the 5 year time skip.

On another note can someone explain to me 2 things really briefly? Google doesn't help.

1) Who was the 3rd Green Lantern that Flash was talking about recruiting and why does everyone hate him?

2) Who is Bart/Impulse...?

@CFxRenaissance: Guy Gardner. He's cocky and kind of a jerk. But I love him, he's a jerk with heart.

Bart/Impulse is Bart Allen. He's the current Kid Flash in comics, but at one point went by Impulse. He's also Barry Allen's grandson from the future.

I'm glad they are going with the name Impulse instead of Kid Flash. it's much better.

Guy Gardner - lol...just a read a bit from his bio and you will know lol... he made a cameo in Revelations (He helped Black Canary/Green Arrow/Red Arrow)

Bart/Impulse - is the current Kid Flash in the comics.

I'm one of the people who has never (and probably will never) get over the fact that the YJ cast looks allot more like the original 5 Titans (with additions and substitutions) than the actual Young Justice comics cast. The fact that they may give Wally Bart's code name and forever band him from the cartoon just pisses me off.

Perhaps but I need a better reason for a fall then a character death and origin hiding. That is not enough to quit in my book not enough to fall.

I'm excited to see Bart Allen. I wonder what his costume will look like. Personally, I'd love to see his New 52 costume but I'm probably the only one...

The whole Aqualad/Dark Side thing was kind of obvious and likely, I just hope he joins the good guys again. He was one of my favourite characters from first season.

I know Aqualad becoming evil was pretty predicable, but its completely out of character. He was totally devoted to his king the first season (he even apologized after knocking Aquaman out) Plus Tula already chose Garth. Its just a complete turn for the character. I can't imagine him betraying his friends. Not a fan.

I hope they didn't kill off Artemis. She was actually a pretty interesting character with her background (although wally's reaction to her dying in failsafe made me dislike her for a bit)

Also I really hope Barry's dead. Wally as Flash and Bart as Impulse is something I can really get behind.

This season should turn out to be better than the first. However I would like to see some Justice Society characters on the show. And Kyle as a teen lantern.

@notquitevarsity: rumours about Jay, in Episode 6, i hope see at least 3 Flash in that episode.

I believe the rumors about Bart Allen appearing is true too, if you look closely at the Young justice Invasion promo picture (the one where they are all silhouettes staring into space), if you look at the most right character, you notice that it has those ear-antenna things that the flash has, but the shape of those match the Impulse ones instead of the ones Kid Flash has.

Personally I can see it...if he can let's say blame his teammates logically, for Tula's death plus Garth's(2nd isn't necessary but could be done to enhance feelings of anger)...it can't be like a natural accident it has to be like this scenario(or very similar), save the crowd or Tula, in that scenario he could totally blame the team and then his Father reveals that he is said father and offers revenge...they're together for a few episodes until its revealed that he had caused the scenario which leads him to join the team.

And wouldn't mind Barry retiring with Jay Gerrick and having Wally be the new Flash and Impulse be the new Kid Flash. A teen Kyle would be nice also.

It's not unrealistic. He still had feelings for Tula, so her dying was still tragic and Aquaman not telling him the identity of his father escalated it.

And one episode I liked from YJ was Denial: "Find your own little spitfire, one who won't let you get away with nothin' Aqualad saying that Wally uses his understanding of science to control what he cannot comprehend, and that to admit the existence of magic would be to relinquish the last vestiges of that control.

@Jnr6Lil: did you read the spoiler in the first post? im just agreeing that Bart Allen will probably appear because the shape of the armor piece on the ears, Wally's is more like a lightning bolt, and the one shown in the promo has the shape more similar to Bart Allen's impulse ear antenna armor piece.
