Team » Young Justice appears in 269 issues.
@X9: I would hope that the comics wouldnt be affected. I dont think Cartoon Network has too much say when it comes to those. The only way I can see the comics being delayed is if they were timed to the original schedule and would have big spoilers for episodes that were supposed to have aired by the time the comics came out. Then I would imagine they would delay them until the episodes were released

I am curious what their reasoning is for doing this...wonder if there will be a more public announcement explaining why this done...
What ever reason they do have, I'm sure it's gonna be a crappy one.

at least it isn't cancelled....lets just say that
Well, that depends.
If fans lose interest and drop the series, they can still cancel it. Or at least cancel a possible third season.
Anyway, I just think they screwed up. There's a time limit for making fans wait. Avatar knew that :P
DCNation fans, there is rage in you heart. Welcome to the Red Lantern Corps.
The twitt is just so damn right

Something about their stupid birthday I guess

That would be the WORST.POSSIBLE.THING.EVER.
My personal, not based on anything, fear is that one of show creators got seriously ill and they don't want to lose the show too early so they're drawing it out.
@TheCrowbar: I especially liked how it got 35 retweets and 24 favorites. A big F#ck you from me too cartoon network.
My prediction is come January they'll make a new programming block very similar to Nation with DC programming. GL:TAS will finish the other 10 (I think it was) of it's episodes, and then will probably be cancelled, and they'll start to air just Young Justice and Teen Titans Go! Other possibility is that it goes straight to YJ and TTG, and later air the remaining GL:TAS as "lost episodes".
Some website broke the news 10 hours before it aired and there was speculation on certain sites......but you're right, there was no official announcement from Cartoon Network, such a scumbag move. The thing that ticks me off the most it that they are replacing it with RERUNS of Riders of Berk! I just cant fathom why they would do something like this with literally NO warning or announcement

We just got back from a hiatus!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is it with this show and hiatuses???
It's not even the show. It's the F$$%in network pulling DC Nation with no rhyme, reason, or warning
i doubt it has to do with the birthday seeing as they brought the shows back at the end of september, and theyre gone til january.....i really hope this is a joke
This is one of the few things I watch as it airs was surprised when it wasn't on but I kinda got that it was because of there 20th anniversary thing but there has to be a drastic reason there pulling this again after only two new episodes of each show otherwise they would just do it next week like normal.
This is the same crap SyFy pulled with Caprica air half a season take a year break air 4 more episodes then cancel it when surprise surprise the ratings sucked because they destroyed the fan base for it. The problem here is that Young Justice builds on itself especially this season so breaking it up so dramatically like this is going to make people frustrated who wind up missing episodes and that's what could lead to cancellation.

I could definitely see that happening, or maybe this has something to do with the new Batman show coming next year.
They just want to cancel the show and they are just pulling off ratings by pissing fan base..
It's shame that DC and Cartoon Network are doing this for allowing the new teen titans and batman come on..
I mean i rather whatch this show then new ones.
What fate can we have on cartoon network now after this sucker-punch they gave us?
If cartoon cannot treat serious this kind of show let them stick with scooby / tom& jerry and move this show to another network.
This is the best DC tv animated series from justice league and they totally scr... it.
@jasontodd7: Apparently DC and CN's parent company were just as surprised by the move as we were. CN didn't tell anyone up til a few hours before they did it. Warners went ahead and released the new episode on Itunes, if this hiatus had been their idea they wouldn't have allowed that
I know Bruce Timm and Dwayne McDuffie said they never knew if JL/JLU would be renewed so every season finale was written like series finale. They actually had another season planned when it ended. I don't trust CN.
I found this on twitter and i signed. http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/bring-back-dc-nation/ .
It seems like this guy is the one responsable for it..

I hope they tell us why it went on a hiatus. They owe us that much at least. Better be a good reason too.
@The Poet: What I read on the Internet last night was there is something to do with the 20th birthday celebration. One of the producers from GL:TAS actually said he didn't know about the hiatus until Twitter blew up yesterday morning.

That's the thing, apparently only the Cartoon Network execs knew the change. They never informed, DC or the shows creators about it and only found out through Twitter
@ReclaimerM3GTR: Considering Warner released the episode to Itunes, I assume they didn't know about it either. I'm not sure how well their parent company took learning of this move after people on twitter did but I don't imagine they were happy about it.
