    A group of teenage superheroes with powers and abilities mirroring those of the Avengers, Young Avengers was formed by Iron Lad to defeat his future self, Kang. After the team disbanded, Kate Bishop later reformed the team with new costumes. A new team has now been formed by Loki.

    Anybody else wondering why Speed isn't in the new Young Avengers? Not only is his twin brother on the team I think his prankster/comedic type personality would lead to some great scenes between him and Loki.

    Kieron gillen decided that he wanted a smaller, more tight nit group so he took Speed off the roster and added three new people. Im not entirely sure why, but thats what an interview with him said. Though Speed is supposed to make an appearance in Issue 6
