A 1968 animated film based on the music of the Beatles. This film is notable for the fact that the Beatles' only involvement in the making of the film was through their music, everything else was animated and with different voice actors.

Yellow Submarine was a very good film. It was very unusual however with all the strange surreal images brought to life by various animators which i actually like. It is fun for the whole family. Has some funny little quipps, a nice story, and good music played throughout. The movie starts with the introduction of a magical place called Pepperland. The inhabitants like to play music , the "blue meanies" however become irritated by it and wish to attack the people of Pepperland. A captain escapes ...
