    Whys and Wherefores, Chapter Four

I believe next issue is the last issue. This was a very emotional book. Things are coming together and going downhill for Yorick Brown.

Alter, who I really really hate...which makes her a great villain she is such a bitch, captures Yorick's sister, his ex girl friend, his daughter, and his baby's mama.

Agent 355 and Yorick explain to each other how they feel. And it leads to believe that they will be together and it feels special. Then the ending hits...355 dies at Alter's hands. I can feel his pain and I hope he gets vengeance next issue. What I thought was kinda cool is that no one knows 355's real name but right after she tells Yorick she is killed and we are not told anything. Very strange and cool.

    NO SPOILER REVIEW!!!!

    Whys and Wherefores, Chapter Four

This comic has been nothing but amazing since it's inception roughly five years ago. You'd think a story about the last man on earth would be nothing more than a 60 issue fuck-fest. But alas, it's so much more complicated than that.

Issue 60 marks the farewell to Yorick and the gang and issue 58 is NOT a lame filler issue like you'd think. This has the most jaw dropping ending in any comic I have ever read. I have NEVER literally "dropped my jaw" to any comic ever.... until Y:58. If you love this comic, that this will be landmark issue for you. If you've never read this comic, DO NOT START HERE!

The dialogue and emotion within this issue feel real, and not forced like most dialogue heavy reads. Complications between Yorick's Beth and the Beth from many issues earlier get even more complicated. This is what comics should be like, in any genre...
