The story opens with the astronaughts releasing their ship from the spacestation it was attached to, so they could begin their descent. Our three heroes, along with the Russian Natalya, find the secret military base that the astronaughts are supposed to land near, and they begin to prepare for their arrival, and possible quarintine of the males. Alter the leader of the Israe;i army makes her play to kidnap Yorrick, a firefight ensues, two of the Israeli's are killed yet Alter gets away with Yorrick. Agent 355 uses one of the dead soldiers radios to tell Alter that if she returns Yorrick, 355 will trade the astronaughts for him.

One Small Step: Chapter Three
Yeah, we saw her threaten and fight a little bit in past issues, but here she actually gets to kick ass. The writing especially hit a high note when an israeli soldier is seemingly begging for her life by repeating the only few English phrases she has heard. One thing also I am glad Vaughn has done with these characters is, most of them are intelligent. There are no dumb for dumb sake characters. Alter proves to be just as resourcful as 355 and will be a good advisary in the coming issues. This is the chapter the story picks up in.
