The book opens with The Theater troupe from the last issue rehearsing their play about the last man on Earth. After rehearsal a couple of the actresses are taking Ampersand for a walk when the young woman who asked them to perform soap operas comes up to them. She is not happy with their new subject, and after being blown off , leaves in a huff. Ampersand begins to make noises and we see that the ninja is still following them.

During the play that night the ninja begins talking to her employer, we find out that she is following Ampersand. She is told to only use violence if she can keep the number of casualties down.

Seeing that all of the actresses but the two watching Ampersand have left the ninja drops down ready to make her kill. A fight distracts her followed by a gunshot. She decides now isn't the time and leaves.

The gunshot came from a disguised Agent 355 and Yorrick. They came to find Yorrick, yet the actresses are reluctant to give him up until Agent 355 tells them that Ampersand is actually an expirimental Hermaphrodite.

    A slight dip 0

Here we come to a slight dip in the series, for me anyway. I can't say exactly why, but I just can't bring myself to care very much about this theater troupe. Luckily, I think the next issue will start going in a different direction. But even the mediocre issues of this series are better than most of the stuff out there....
