Apocalypse chose his Horsemen too well. They enveloped the Earth in darkness and judged their own master unfit. Archangel (Death) now operates out of Europe, building a lethal empire using the Hellfire Club and his own Dark Riders (Wolverine, Shadowcat, Mystique, Quicksilver & Mimic (wielding the powers of Vertigo, Scrambler, Prism, Arclight & Harpoon). Dani Moonstar (War) and her corrupt Valkyrie sisters quench their bloodlust in North America in alliance with Wolfsbane and her wolf pack (including her son by Iceman, Frostbite). Gambit (Famine) had found love and success, uniting the Thieves & Assasins Guilds with the Scarlet Witch and their twin daughters (Jinx & Ditto) by his side, until Dracula made him a Vampire Lord. He now leads an army of the undead coined Morlocks through the Genoshan underworld to turn Wanda and her X-Men. Jamie Maddrox (Pestilence) seemed to take over China with ease. At first glance there lies a peaceful, unassuming landscape, until the face of every man reflects that of its ruler! Jamie slaughtered every man and replaced each with a dupe making the East impossible to infiltrate.
The Earth is desolate, with Atlantis, Genosha & The Savage Land being the last earthbound safe havens. To make matters worse, the Shi'Ar, in hopes of finding an ally against the Kree, brought the battle to our already war-torn backyard. Joining forces with Magneto's Acolytes and the Inhumans, they resurrect Avalon and recruit Cyclops to take his father's helm, not as a pirate, but as a General and Captain of the Starjammer. To rally Shi'Ar troops and unite forces otherwise unlikely to follow Magneto, he takes the guise of Eric the Red and takes Medusa as his queen. Over the course of an epic interstellar war, Medusa delivers a baby girl, Maia, in the Terrigen Mists chamber, immediately activating an aquatic mutation. To protect her, she is made the ward of Triton, and the two join Namor and his new queen, Meggan, in a relocated Atlantis (built by Iceman off the coast of Antactica with access to the Savage Land (Ruled by Doctor Doom and an army of Saurons).

this was an idea i was toying with when Storm first appeared in the BP books, and is plotwise out of date.
really it just took me forever to remember where i first wrote this idea.
its an idea for a Wakandan based X-Men.(Wakandan X, X-Men Wakanda?)
i took alot of liberties here as well so bare with it. originally this was an all black
team with only mutants, but alot of it didnt have the right dynamic so i made revisions.

Monica Rambeau (non-mutant, but she's perfect. she might be a great field captain for this team actually)

holes here, like have it stated that during say Civil War or something Wakanda had him do an uncover job,
or whatever)

Leech (x-morlock, Storm is essentially his queen as is)
Anole (becomes big brother to Leech)
Sabra (like Monica she just fits. she will definatly be a trustworthy and reliable team player)
Gateway (team teleporter and more)
Marrow (the teams defacto probationary villain. i like her because its hard to just cast her off as
untrustworthy however, as her allegiances have been off and on. its not like having Mystique
or Sabretooth on the team who one knows is going to flip eventually. she has more of an air
like Gambit used to. and of course the relation between her and Storm was long since swept
under the rug and needs to be enlightened, as well as history with Gambit that needs to be addressed)

i also really wanted Mammomax, but i think i should let his body cool off a little before bringing
him back to life. i also considered Dust for awhile, but she didnt seem to fit in plotwise.

Juggernaunt- another brick making for protecting the squisher members and for damage

In a Post-Second Coming world, the X-Men embark on their greatest challenge yet, building Utopia into a nation that will function and thrive as the mutant sanctuary they once promised. Scott Summers acts as President of Utopia employing the help of former leaders Magneto and Charles Xavier along with a carefully selected Cabinet. Emma Frost acts as First Lady and Headmistress of the Xavier Institute, while the rest of the X-Men roster is scattered to the winds.
