Id have to say X-23. She's just pointless in my opinion.
I see a lot of people trying to say JUBILEE but at least she's entertaining. Generation X elevated her to "hero" status.
Team » X-Men appears in 13417 issues.

I like this set-up, I'm stealing it.

"Remember when Kid Omega was useful/had fans/was liked/had personality?
Neither do f**king I."
Apart from the fact he's an Omega level genius mutant, he's completely useless.....

I like Jubilee a lot.
Love:
Warlock + Cypher, Iceman, Chamber, Rogue + Gambit, Cannonball, Nightcrawler, Fantomex and Archangel (thanks to Remender).
Hate:
Surprisingly, not Mondo, his AoA was impressive.
Magma has been the subject to bad writing since her first appearance.
Never understood Random
Storm used to be an awesome characters, then she stopped voicing out her opinions, subjected to bad writing, and unnecessarily put in the Avengers.
X-Man and Cable, I dont hate them, I simply didnt think they needed their own miniseries, X-Man is now pathetically weak and chucked in New Mutants, not bad, but he is now a whiny b1tch. Cable was a great leader for the New Mutants and X-Force, but i find it a bit weird how he seems to be older than his father in present day.

Mondo should just never appear again. So much of Generation X was terrible.
Magma's just confusing and the Belasco thing is ridiculous.
Random is another example of where the 1990s went wrong.
Warpath & Siryn. Two redundant characters conceived as replacements for better, though, deceased characters. Siryn has, at least, been fleshed out fairly well over in X-Factor, but Warpath remains as two-dimensional as ever.

Hmm, i feel that if Marvel wishes to reintroduce 90s characters, they will have to reinvent them in some way, i mean, 90s and 2000s was pretty bad for the X-Men in general *cough* Chuck Austen *cough*. They just had to make Magma's background history even more confusing and make Mondo a clone.
Generation X did have its good parts, I mean, I love Chamber, Synch, Husk, both Skins and Mondo (to a certain extent), Im just annoyed at they dumped half of those characters on the "We Will Never See You Again Necrosha X Train."
@chalkshark: I don't like Warpath too, he seems so... flat. All he does is sit around and strong arm whoever that needs to be and has literally zero dialogue.

I love absolutely love Chamber and Monet.
But the Monet/Emplate/Hollow/Penance/M-Twins stuff was such an over-complicated mess. I'm glad they barely touch on that stuff now. I also hate DOA, what a creepy character. I really disliked Mondo, Skin and Gaia.
The whole thing with them being at a school with non-mutants was ridiculous too. Utterly ridiculous.

Hell, Ive read Gen X #1 - #75 through and I still don't get the Monet/ Emplate/ Hollow/ Penance/ M-Twin story line, they should had changed direction once Emplate said Monet was her brother.
I also dislike those X-terminators, I mean, besides Inferno, they never really had a major impact on the story line, and even in Inferno (which I thought was a massively complicated and unnecessarily long), they didnt REALLY do anything, they made a problem, solved a problem, and tucked under a mat and never spoken of again.
Yes, im pointing at you, Skids (who could have been developed), Firefist (who got killed off wayyyy too fast, and had a pretty sick power initially), Artie (who I never really liked), Leech, Rictor, and Wiz Kid (who got dumped into Avengers Academy like, 20 years later).
@tomchu:
Oh, Skids. Even her name is bad. Ink, Cipher and Greymalkin are terrible too. Cheers, Guggenheim!

John Proudstar was better? Don't get me wrong I think James needs some major writer development, but yeah....

About as much as Cyclops is an Arrogant Douche to be honest.
They've put a stick up his arse and scrubbed him all over the bloody walls.
Fundamentally disagree.
I know we'll disagree about Cyclops, but his problems aside, Quicksilver was willing to mess with the fabric of reality for his own rather selfish goals (albeit saving his sister).
All of reality for just one woman? Further to this, he was then fully non-repentant, violated a sacred Inhuman tradition by stealing the Terrigen Mists and causes more deaths by playing god and trying to re-power some pretty desperate ex-mutants.
Cyclops on the other hand, is selfless, even if he is an "arrogant douche".

We won't disagree about Cyclops at all. In fact, I think that you didn't understand my point. None of those two people are fundamentally bad characters, they just get abused. That Scarlet Witch and Inhumans thing is fcking ridiculous. And I'm not even a fan.

I can understand the point about bad characterisation, but after a while I think people just need to evaluate what's happened regardless of who's written it, unless it's completely ridiculous.
Although it may have been extreme, I do feel that Quicksilver's always been portrayed like that.

1)Namor- Rubbish character
2 ) Cyclops for past 5 years. He's been annoying and boring. One of my least favourite X-Men characters at the moment
Namor? As a character he is awesome...as an X-Man not so much. Dude needs his own book again.
As for my least favorite X-Man, I hate most of the New X-Men. Kid Omega, X-23 and a couple of the others are alright, but most of them are pointless and/or suck. Hellion in particular bugs the crap out of me.

I think him doing what he did is completely ridiculous. Either the part of HoM is bad writing or him being an Avenger is bad writing. I don't feel this "evolution" feels natural at all.
Oh, just thought of this one. Annoyance, thine name is Pixie. She just looks annoying, and then she proves it by speaking. She reminds me of a character from My Little Pony or Tinkerbell.
Pixie. Just move her to Winx Club so my niece can enjoy her. She has no place nor purpose on the X-Men.
why do u dont like jean grey?
@hopesummersforthefuture: That's a really old post. I used to really dislike Jean Grey, but I've since revised my opinion.

im starting to warm up towards emma frost too. i mean super-strength diamond skin how cool is that. and diamond form looks pretty if the artist does it right
I don't hate these characters, but they're some of my least favorite:
Rachel Grey - boring and redundant
Jean Grey(teen) - very unlikable
Fantomex - ridiculous
Wolfsbane - whiny and annoying
Teen O5 - there is not a compelling reason to have them in this time stream. 4/5 of the adult O5 almost made this list.
X-23 - The route this character took after NYX made me feel icky. Yes, the prostitute from a drug-laden Mutant Town was less icky than when she became an X-Men student. The romanticization of an animal-esque, traumatized assassin obsessing over the resident bully/prick is what abusive relationships are made of.
Psylocke - the body swap was conceived as a low-point of Claremont's creativity (and a very unfortunate byproduct of the culture of the time).
The character you think is most useless:Angel, Angel, Havok, Firestar, Skin
The character you think is most poorly conceived:Cable, Maggott, Xorn, Hope Summers
The character you think is the weirdest: X-men characters should be weird. Some of the weirdest X-men characters I can think of are Madrox, Banshee, The New Mutants, Husk, Chamber, Beak, Glob Herman, the Stepford Cuckoos, and Blindfold, and I think X-men comics are more interesting than other superheroes largely because of characters like them.
The character you like the least:Angel, Havok, Firestar, Cable, Boom-Boom, Feral, Maggott, Stacy X, Thunderbird III, Lifeguard, Slipstream, Mercury, Hope Summers... oh.. it's too many to name... I have almost as hard a time picking characters I don't care for from X-men as I would picking my favorites. There's just so many..
I will say that I never cared much for Jean Grey or Dazzler, but I've come to like both of them lately.
