Marvel really seems to be giving far more attention to their female heroes. Good.

Yeah, they should have used other characters... Half of them are in other titles(well everyone except Jubes lol) and now UncannyXForce is gonna be pretty useless

So Marvel didn't have the balls to call it X-women. Not impressed. And you know everyone in the book is going to call them "X-women". There has already been Sisterhood of Mutants so really what is the hold up. is the brand more important than the characters. And the cast could have had more underused X-women like Magma, Frenzy, Blink and Lifeguard.

But i trust in Wood and can't wait to see his take on the Claremazons. I finally have a flagship book to follow. This, UXF and Fearless Defenders are the only book i will get. But i still have to wait for all them...

I think it's good news I like what Bendis is doing but Wood is my favorite X writer at the moment.

Yeah, there were plenty characters they could have add to this tittle, but they used the same as before. Maybe a title with Storm(this is her title, she deserves it lol), Sage instead of Psylocke and Lifeguard(or Pixie) instead of Kitty, Rachel(she doesn't seem to have a central in W&TXM anymore), Frenzy/Rogue and Jubilee could have worked, it would have been similar to the old X-Treme X-Men.

I think this title will be good. Not my ideal of all girl team, but I think Wood would do a good job on it. I'm going to love marvel now.

I'm actually really glad they didn't call it X-women; these are X-men, every one of them. Plus that title would definitely write them into a corner, eventually.

I'm also actually glad they went with this line up; besides being an all-star cast, these characters were all main characters at different points throughout the 80's, which gives the team a very distinct and definitive flavour -I actually noticed that before anything else, so this may be one time when I feel that newer characters might have watered it down..

And as far as how many other books these characters are in, I could really care less. This is probably the only X-book I'll read where any of these characters get any proper focus.

Psylocke, Storm, Rogue and Jubilee. The Outback Girlz.

I'm dying right now.

and, hey, this cast is made up of some of the core X-men from the 80's, and who doesn't love the 80's? these guys have all proven themselves in my book.

Does anyone know if this will be released every four weeks or two weeks?

It's a little annoying that they've made a big deal out of an all female team, what with the XX hint, and it being reported as an all female title, when I've heard no mention of the fact that New Avengers is an all male title. I think it would've been better if they'd released it and not made such a big deal about the sex of the members. It seems a little gimmicky the way it's happening.

But at least there's an all female X-Men team to balance out the all male New Avengers team.

Are there any other all male or all female Marvel teams at the moment?
