Wouldn't it be an amazing idea if Marvel remade the X-Force into a more Suicide Squad model. Since DC's Squad is splotchy and poorly written these days, this could be really popular. What the writers most need to understand is that the characters need to be unknown and expendable. In DC we have popular characters who we know will last on the team. Not good. I could see Wolverine or Cyclops(even better now that hes crazy,) leading the X-Force. Then throw in some newly invented unknown characters and let the writers do anything! Thats whats fun about it, you could make any INSANE characters and if they don't work, let them die violently.

The original mutant version of the "Suicide Squad" at Marvel was Freedom Force, they should just bring a new version of that team back. Possibly with Mystique as leader......if only they hadn't diluted her character so much.

I think once they get done messing around with everything in Secret War they could take the old 616 characters who are bound to be lost/shelved and have them go off, Exiles style. There is no telling what version of what character will remain or what the history of said character will be.

That said, this does give them a good opportunity to pair the line down from all the "extra's" they have right now, scrap the sale-sucking solo's and titles and have 2-3 titles max and let the line become invigorated. It would be nice if once the reboot happens the X-titles all sold Bendis numbers and not pull down numbers so much as the non-Bendis titles at the moment.

That said, it will all depend on the creators chosen to help the Titanic after the reboot.

X-force is a great concept on it's own, it just needs a writer who can write grey area without being preachy.
