@mcklayn: sorry, both are 'Nathan Summers'. In 616, Pryor's Nathan was adopted by Jean, then sent forward in time, then cloned into Stryfe, then came back as Cable.

They do, his name is Mikhail.

He's mentioned it before that she is. Same parallels to how Storm views Kitty as a daughter-- but not seriously.

@darthphoenix: Nate and Rachel may be the "children" of their Scott and Jean, but they are still basically strangers. Rachel has known Cable for basically his entire 616 life and some of his askani childhood until she died. They had a psi link when he was a baby, and it apparently remained and was powerful enough for her to contact him from the end of time. After her return to 616 it seems Marvel has forgotten their connection even to the point of not having Cable even be mentioned in End of Greys story,even though his adopted child turn out to be directly connected to the Phoenix force.

Zaladane claims to be the half-sister of Polaris. Obviosuly not from Magneto's side but from her mother's side. But Idk, I think this was proven false or something.

Well, in X-men: Children of the Atom* (1999) it's revealed that Xavier rescues Cyclops from an abusive foster parent who's using him to commit crimes. Given that Xavier's working under the radar of the CIA at the time, and that Cyclops is only 16 or something, it seems unlikely that he could have taken him in if he hadn't officially adopted him.

*(if you've never read CotA, it's definitely worth a read. It was a 6 issue miniseries by Joe Casey and Steve Rude about the events surrounding Xavier recruiting the original team that we see assembled in The X-Men #1. As a prequel, it's pretty great and shows the different relationships Xavier forges with each of the original members.)
