Would Cyclops and Storm Make a Great Couple?

Ewwwwwwwwww.

Are you guys racists ? What do you got against a white guy having a black girlfriend. Let their love bloom.
It's annoying when people play the racist card just because they're coincidentally of two different races.
Can't u see they can't resist their temptation.
And obviously they can, considering the context of that story.
@Chibi-Iroh: I've always shipped her with Logan, I think it's an excellent pairing.
It would be interesting, but I always had a spot in my heart for a Logan/Ororo relationship. I think it's just best to keep Scott and Ororo friends. They can still disagree, argue, and lead together, but without the romance.
Hands down Storm comes off as the type that likes certain types and certain types of sex,if Scott cant bang her out real good, she's gonna get bored with him.I really dont think he would be able 2 keep up with her, just look at the other men she's been involed with,it really seems like she likes a certain type.
@The Dark Huntress: I seriously never knew so many people supported the Logan and Ororro pairing as much as I did. They honestly seem like they make the most sense together considering how they treat each other and the fact that they both seem to have some built of sexual or just tension between each other.
I Thought it would have been a great idea, instead of lumping BP and her together simply because they are both african. She would be a great conscience and would have not let him go so far to create x-force and just would have been a great advisor to cyclops

Yes - so much yes!
Have you read X-Men: The End by any chance?
@Chibi-Iroh: I think she would. women hold more sway over a man when they, ahem, have something to bargain with. Example?
While I think "once upon a time" it would have been an interesting thing - I can't see it happening now, (except for a wanking editor who loves shock value: schism anyone?) but I also think as others have noted, that the team up between Storm and Black Pather was only "African centered" - yeah, they had a childhood romance - but there has been nothing (it seems to me) to infer that they actually have a relationship...now - Ororo and Forge, now that was an incredible couple (thanks to Chris Claremont) and while Forge is INCREDIBLY UNDERUSED (shouldn't he be on the X-Scientist team, oh yeah, they chose to bring in Box rather than use him)I still think he has untapped potential (especially with bringing back Illyana). Just think if he rejoined the X and rekindled something with Storm...ahhhhh let the drama insue!

Oh, I like you.
And Forge is dead :(
@nonfiction91: I refuse to have Storm reduced to a weak female character who just sleeps with Scott to get him to do things.
While I don't like them as a couple. You do make some valid points on how it could work between them.
Something doesn't ever work right with Marvel as far as couples go. They're never really written well. And I don't think it's often the fault of the writers.
They would seem to make the excellent couple if Storm wasn't married and if Scott wasn't seeing Emma. Plus, they seem to pull all the other X-men together. It makes you wonder though how it would process or if they would have a child.
Cyclops is the man, plain and simple. If he wants Emma and a little Storm on the side, he should be able to have it. In fact, he has earned the right to have any of the mutant women he chooses.

Whose fault would it be, if not the writers?
I can see them being good friends, yes. Lovers, I just can't. And I hate how Storm's not been doing much lately; it feels like that ever since she got married.
I don't know about Cyclops and Storm together. I mean it's not like its the worst possible couple or anything. It could be interesting. I do think it's getting time for Cyclops to dump Emma Frost and kick her to the curb. I didn't hate them together I just think the relationships run its course now
@fivestarga: That is the craziest statement that I have heard in forever. Storm is more than a sideline piece.
In the classic uncanny days, there were times I saw some potential for them, but not so much when Storm took over as leader of the team. They seemed to have more of a rivalry when Cyclops came back to the X-Men and that progressed into a mutual respect as colleagues and friends.

LOL...No. Not even on the best day of his life.... -__-

This
I have thought about Cyclops and Storm cos it's kinda interesting since they've known each other for a long while and has been leaders of the X-Men. But I don't want it to happen in 616 universe. : )
I still go for Storm and Wolverine. The are a prefect couple.
Storm and Wolverine forever!
@The Dark Huntress: I want Marvel to work on T'Challa's and Storm's relationship. Cyclops and all his love changes (Emma is cheating on him with Namor, they seem more suited for each other anyway), he should just be alone for a while and focus on being the best leader he can be. And plus they just seem so wrong for each other.
Cyclops is the pretty boy, seemingly stuck up prep Quarterback that everyone hates in highschool until they get to know him. I've known guys like that and was a guy like that, so here's my opinion: Female Cyclop's haters: Hate him to their friends yet would throw themselves at a guy like that in real life. It's happen to me and friends of mine. Male Cyclop's haters: Talk shit about him all day everyday until that type of guy actually speaks to them and then suddenly he's not that bad. And they secretly yearn to be like him. Admissions made to me by underclassmen. I've seen it, lived it, and now named it.

I was never a fan of that pairing to be honest. It felt a little forced.
(Emma is cheating on him with Namor, they seem more suited for each other anyway),
What are you even talking about? She's doing no such thing.

I think Emma makes him better, to be honest. They compliment each other and bring out the best.
And plus they just seem so wrong for each other.
I think they work well as colleagues and have a respect for each other, but I also agree with the opinion that they would not make a good romantic pairing.
I wouldn't mind the two together, but Scott and Emma are perfect together, so I'd rather not see that relationship dissolve.

:P But Storm and T'challa's relationship can dissolve for the sake of Scott.
