Worst Mistakes ?

we know all people make mistakes, what do think mistakes made by the x-men writers were or was ?

I killing off psylocke in x-treme x-men, i mean why did they do that, think they just wanted storm, rogue and sage to shrine in the comic , i mean storm and rogue did and sage was alright. X-treme x-men was a good team it reminder me of blue team in 90's. Psylocke was good, they shouldn't of kill her off ?

Bishop betrayal in messiah complex, we know why bishop betray the x-men, but it was such a disppointment that he turn into a villain and now is hunting down cable, bishop was a good character and good x-men and all that means is he will be killed of soon.

M-DAY, we all know that if m-day didn't happen, endanger species wouldn't of happen nor would messiah complex, it was quite bold of x-men writers to go down that route, but it's left a lot of mutants depower, so it is kind of a mistake, that it happen.

i don't think so, wolverine loves her and she does love him. i think cylops should stay with emma and jean been with logan, it's about time x-men writers explore that

Killing Legion. M-Day was a mistake to me. It was more trouble than it was worth. Turning Archangel back into Angel. Breaking Psylocke and Angel up. killing so many mutants just because they can. Not using Karma, Magma, and Skids enough. Killing Mr. Sinister. Bringing back Jean Grey again. Making Vulcan so strong. I think he would have been better as a incredibly intelligent, mildly powerful character that just more like Magneto. Not allowing Nightcrawler to shine as much as he should. Moving Husk into limbo. Canceling the Weapon X book. It was cool in my opinion.

I agree, Emma & Scott are like a match made in heaven, and besides Jean was way too good for Scott. I say she needs to move on from him and explore the sparks between her and Logan =]

Putting Psylocke in Exiles.
Creating Vulcan and stupid back-up storyline.
Killing the relationship of Scot and Jean...it was okay they got together can't it be just be a healthy couple who had problems but resolved it? I know it is common to divorce nowadays but can't relationships work out? There should be something positive things reflected in comics.
Storm getting hitched quickly to Black Panther...it was just shoved in right on your face.
The White Phoenix of the Crown storyline...the concept sucks...next thing you know Rachel is the blue phoenix of the crown then their will be pink, fuscha, orange...yikes!
Writers who doesn't know the 60 years of the x-men storyline should not write it without really knowing each ones history for consistency.

Vulcan is awesome.
Scot and Emma are more interesting.
Don't care.
Phoenix is generally lame.
A lot of stuff is irrelevant now.

Like in the Ultimate U
Everything was going great until Scott proposed to the telepath who knew had a ring for a birthday
Storm was great with Beast but Wolverine had to lay one on her
I've always liked the relationship between Kitty and Collosus in the regular U and I was waiting for it in the Ultimate up until Collosus ame out of the closet

In the Age of Apocalypse
It was ok that jean and Logan were together but the fact that they were together made Logan a lot less feral
Magneto and Rogue weelll I just find Magneto too old for her

and in 616 please if Scott wanted Emma so much why did she marry Jean!!!!!!!!!!

She also knew he liked her 2.5 [i don't remember the exact time] seconds before he did. there's no surprising a telepath.
Storm Kissed Wolverine and he told her to back off.

Emma wasn't in the same setting as Scott and Jean when they married. And emma began to love scott over time, not as soon as she looked at him.

Those things seem more realistic to me.Relationships aren't always right or happily ever after.

Biggest mistake? Oh, I'd say making Nightcrawler into the antichrist. I can't really think of anything worse than that in an X-Man comic.

Apocalypse return from the Dead was just horrible all around (at least it seems to have been forgotten).
Death of Maggot (what happened to the one that got away?).
New X-Men (academy X) being cancled.

Lol at people thinking Jean and Logan should start something.

While Jean may love logan in some way it is nowhere near the love she has for scott. They have a connection that she will never have with anyone else and they will forever be soul mates. Anyone who thinks otherwise knows jack about the characters.

Oh and they have tried to explore the Logan/Jean relationship in other timelines/universes but you know whats funny? Even in those other universes the spark between Jean and Cyke STILL happens. No matter what Logan can never have Jean and that's a fact.

Honestly, I think that if Jean returns...... obiously as the mutant baby ..........the fact that she's being raised by her son and Scott knowing this might bring Scott and jean back together... plus with the whole Manifest Destiny Emma has been insecure of everything suddenly and now she's part of the Dark Illuminati..... All of this might make Scott change his mind about Emma.

Emma isn't part of the dark illuminati because she's evil. Much like Namor she's doing it to help her species. I doubt Cyclops would hold it against her considering he put together a mutant killing squad. Not to mention that for all we know she could have told him about it.

Oh and Jean isn't Cables mother. Maddie Pryor is.Same genes. Different people.

That time X-Factor defeated The Celestials. I hope one day that Arishem the Judge returns to Earth and kills Scott for blowing his arm off all those years ago.

Jean gaining The Phoenix Force. Claremont could have saved Scott, Jean...AND all the Jean Grey fans a lot of heartache if he had just scrapped the idea.
Creating characters such as Vulcan, Pixie and Hope II (The Mutant Messiah) solely for the sake of making "epic crossovers" such as "Rise and Fall of The Shi'ar Empire," "X-Infernus," and "Messiah Complex."
Having Nightcrawler leave the team because he feels that with Pixie around he is no longer needed. That'll be in an upcoming one-shot but its still a bad decision nonetheless.
Killing Kitty Pryde off by trapping her inside "The Giant Space Bullet of Doom" for the rest of Eternity and exiling her into darkest depths of Outer Space.
Having Storm marry The Black Panther. Was there any real reason at all for them to get married other than take drain more money from our pockets?

Because...he's leaving the team solely because some pink-haired teenage magic-wielding upstart is upstaging him and making him feel worthless. That's why its bad! Plus Nightcrawler is all that is left of the heart of the team now that Kitty is dead (at least until Arishem the Judge finds The Giant Space Bullet of Doom in space, restores her to life, finally gets an excuse to return to Earth and then kills Scott for blowing his arm off back when they met in X-Factor while Kitty reunites with her old friends, not caring that Scott is being stepped on repeatedly by a 2000 foot genocide-loving armored psychopath with delusions of dethroning TOAA [Not the Celestial, the other one, well...maybe both] and becoming the supreme ruler of The Omniverse.) Kurt should just kick that little girl's ass and say "I WAS HERE FIRST!" and let that be that.
