Is it because sales are quite low or is it something to do with the new writers/artists? Just curious.

A few titles have been twice monthly for a little while, but I don't think it was ever meant to be a permanent thing. It was nice having a quality title being pushed through on a fast & regular basis, but it does take a lot of time to write, draw, ink, colour, letter, proof & print a comic :)

Some titles do go twice monthly for particular storylines. For example the series Wolverine (Vol 2) was a monthly series. But for a six-part storyline called the Gehenna Stone affair the series was bought out twice monthly. But when the storyline ended it went back to being montly.

Bi weekly would fill my comic hunger, but I cant imagine the storys and art being any good being produced that quick.

Maybe they would have time for more stories, but thats just being optomistic.

And in side news, when is all this .1 crap going to stop? its retarded.

Once a month would be better for my wallet XD but i do enjoy the two issue months but like it has been said certain storylines require bi weekly so not to interrupt planned events or to keep up the momentum of that story.

Yup. Although I thought they were just a gimmick for last year. I guess they're going to do it every year instead. They're not usually good 'jumping on points' even though that' what they were pimped as by Marvel. More like the kind of back up story you used to get in Annuals that gave a quick introduction to the main characters ;)

Wait a sec, there's a 261.1 as well as a 260.1? http://www.comicvine.com/x-men-legacy-/37-310912/ Shows 260.1, I'm assuming that would have been "261" since Marvel's site says 262 will be out on February 22, with no mention or even cover shot preview of an actual 261.

Just checked Marvel.com and it seems that there is indeed an issue 261. 260.1 should be taking place between 260 and 261.

Thinking back on this, why didn't they just make it a .5?

Comic Vine automaticaly places issues in numerical order. So the #.1 issues always appear after the full number (ie 20, 261, 261.1, 262, etc)
