Passing this one along as I believe last month marked 11 years since the character was killed off in "New X-Men": solitaire asks, "Is adult Jean Grey from MU-616 ever coming back?"

Alonso: One never knows for sure when it comes to Jean Grey and the Phoenix Force, but for now there are so many plans afoot with young Jean Grey that there might not be room for adult Jean!

I hate have reason: the presence of Teen Jean hinders the return of Old Jean.

i get it! it will be jean! she died and started collecting all the pieces of the phoenix force. now she will be back as the one true phoenix in all her glory and power!

i cant get over the fact that emma and teen jean are friends now.....it still hurts my head

In my opinion it isn't clear if the "sand Jean" of Avengers versus X-Men Initial round 6, was really Jean or only a Scott's creation. Anyway it doesn't matter if it was the Jean's ghost or a Scott's creation, because the writers will tell us who is that Phoenix egg.

He is trying to make more Hope's with it before Schism II: Schism Harder where Wolverine returns from the death to try and make a Phoenix Omelet. Really this discussion has just made me realise even more that the whole Phoenix thing has just been overdone. In fact I've come to hate even the origin and description of the Phoenix altogether. Marvel is into retconning everything these days so why not just retcin what we know of the Phoenix. Hell they already messed everything up with the Jean Grey-Phoenix thing back in the day

@hawk2916: Yes, by now they use the Phoenix Force wherever. Also in Nightcrawler 10 it was used and it seems that also Wolverine has became part of the Phoenix Force.

Do you immagine the Scott's face, if Wolverine will be the one that will jump out from the phoenix egg?

I have always thought that Captain Britain and Meggan, Kurt and Amanda and Rachel/Phoenix would have been an awesome Excalibur team. Less bonded with the mutant stories, but with an own identity more focused on the themes of fantasy and mysticism.

After all Captain Britain obtained his power by Merlin, Amanda is a witch, Kurt could ha been an half daemon, Meggan an half elf and Rachel was bonded with Phoenix.

I just want battleworld to end with Scott shooting Phoenix-Void energy through a m'kraan visor that destroys all reality. Is that too much to ask?

@ec2277: Hmm... It's not Heaven, Amanda says it (look at the pictures). We also know that they are not in Limbo, because death people do not go in Limbo. Like Wolverine and Jean are there and that we know that Wolverine is dead (we should not forget that he was a former Phoenix Force Avatar), we can conclude out of those facts that they are in the White Hot Room. What do you think? :D

Interesting, conversation in todays Avengers. Roberto and Sam go to Cyclops for his aid to stop the Incursions and save the Universe. Cyclops response was that he wasn't interested in saving the Universe at this focus now was on resurrections.
