ok psylocke and Rachel are most definitely not best buds. Rachel bestie has always been kitty. Psylocke is closest to Storm of the x-women.

Storm and Jean got my vote. But I choose to cast my write in vote for Storm and Gambit.

My vote was Jean and Storm but i also like the combo of Storm and Rogue.

Jubilee and Wolverine

From the poll, I chose Jean Grey and Storm. They treated each other like sisters and I liked the way that Storm and Jean Grey tried to protect each other.

A friendship I loved, but is not in the poll, would be Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Colossus. I loved their bantering with each other and their outings to bars was probably the best part of their friendship!

I think the two babes look good together, which is Jean and Storm. Why Rogue is not included? She is a hot babe also.

The recent Magik and Kitty makes no sense, again Bendis seemed to be completely careless about continuity where Gillen wrote how Kitty already realized Magik's negative influence on Colossus ("Don't destroy the man I love"), Kitty knew she's no snowflake anymore. But today? Nahh, best buds ever, cause Bendis told us so. And when he talks we better listen, otherwise you just skip his whole run.

Agreed. UXF did add that interesting dynamic to their relationship. In both UXF and X-Men these ladies compliment each other well. I have personally always liked them together as besties as much as I liked Storm and Jean. They both seem to have this dark edge to them that most would expect from Psylocke but is often forgotten about with Storm. I didn't care too much for Humphries work overall but I am glad he at least remembered the wildcard aspect of Storm's personality.

Loved that Divided arc! Those three characters are just so great together. I liked the little nod to The Uncanny X-Men #183, which was also a classic example of how the dynamic between these three really defined so much of what I like about all of them.

From the times when Wolverine wasn't a sellout B-) I also wonder what could've happened if Selene had a chance to drain Juggernaut, I'm pretty sure Cyttorak would have an objection. Gillen sure had a thing for this demon/god.

Gambit's role to Wolverine was especially interesting in that it changed how we perceived Wolverine. By replacing Wolverine's role as the reckless and mysterious bad ass of the team, it established him for the first time as an authority figure within the group.

Cyclops and Magneto....its interesting to see how from the time he joins Utopia onward there is a certain level of companionship between them. At a time when Scott was drifting away from the other X-men every time he made a decision, he seemed to become closer to Magneto. And while Scott never really let Magneto in before losing his powers, it becomes evident that their mutual respect evolved into them being eachothers only male confidant, especially post Schism. Magneto pretty much went from outsider, to replacement Logan, to closest male friend in a few storylines.

They have a rapport that isn't student/teacher but more like a combination of how he would communicate with Beast and Logan...which says a lot.

I always think the mark of a good relationship/friendship is how much you want to see them interact after they've been separated, and i legitimately want to see Cyclops' reaction to what Magneto has apparently been up to as of his first Solo issue.

There are few interactions I long to read more than when Wolverine and Cyclops have to be on the same side. Their frenemies relationship is awesome.

Oh man! I loved that comic book! I wished there were more moments between Wolverine,Colossus and Nightcrawler again!

I actually like the fact that they can't, it shows us how X-comics weren't 100% stagnant.

Nate and Cable have been in two story arcs together. Their first encounter which that scan is from (which was awesome), and then the Blood Brothers arc where they teamed together to fight Stryfe. And there was the first volume of Astonishing where they were both apart of that team with Scott, Jean, Warren, and Logan (who was really a skrull). As far as Nate and Rachel, they shared a panel in one of the last New Mutants issues when they went to the school to help Doug out. They didn't speak to each other.

Sweet. Spider Man has been my fav since I was a kid and I've always liked Nate since first reading about him in XMan 1 so this will be a great read.

They need to have a reunion between them. Peter was very much like a big brother for Nate, and they need to give them a team up beatdown of Osborne given what he did to Nate at the end of Dark X-Men.

Still sucks that his powers are no where near close to what they used to be. And wow that would be a great team up now that better is back and possible Norman as well... Has Nate an appearance in any of the current X men series?

I'll vote Kitty and Lockheed. But everyone knows Blue Beetle and Booster Gold have the strongest bromance in any universe.

I am disappointed that they still haven't done anything to fix the problem they pushed on Nate, Brevoort's comments when it comes to Nate don't help matters either though. Outside of the last New Mutants seres and a cameo in Fearless Defenders, no. And given their push to keep Rachel's role limited, I doubt he will be appearing anytime soon.
