Who is the mutant on fire? I don't know much members of the Excalibur but I really want to know who she is because I tried Hard to find her on this and other sites.

That's Rachel Grey, the daughter of Cyclops and Jean Grey from an alternate timeline. She traveled back in time to join the X-men around the time that Kitty and Rogue first became members. She went crazy for a while, fought the Beyonder, tried to destroy the universe, and then disappeared with Spiral just before the Mutant Massacre. She later met up with Kitty and Nightcrawler again to help form Excaliber, became the Phoenix, defeated Galactus, and returned to the future.

Years later she returned to the X-men again, and is currently teaching "Future History" and Psychic Defense at Wolverine's school.

oh, and she's slated to be on Storm's new team. She's cool.

She's telepathic and telekinetic, she has some powers that have to do with time travel, and she's had the power of both the Phoenix and the Beyonder in the past, so she can pretty much be capable of anything at this point.

I really liked that character, i think she gets underused and written like a ripped off Jean too much :D Just saying

I love that cover... it brings me back to the days when the X-Men were actually good. Excalibur was one of my favorite titles. When they tried to replicate it again with Sage, Nocturne, Dazzler, Juggernaut, Pete Wisdom, and Captain Britain... it was bad!

I still think Excalibur was the best X-men (or marvel) title going, when it started. They tried to split the X-men in two, but Excalibur got the heart and soul of the team (and the best artist at the time in Davis, though they could have made up for that if they'd kept Leonardi on X-men).. But after Claremont and Davis left, it was never really as good.

Great cover. Though Captain Britain was the leader, Rachel always stole the limelight. Since the group was composed of only 5 members, the relationship between the members was really tight. They may only be 5, But they were definitely the most powerful x team of their time

yeah, even though Cap' was the official leader, it always seemed like Kitty and Nightcrawler were really the brains of the operation. But I loved the whole cast; this was the book that actually made me like Rachel, as she had always been so gloomy and crazy in X-men.
