Because Kurt wasn't strong enough to boss him around. But Warren's personality is different when he's Angel and when he's Archangel. I want to see Archangel lead.

Cannonball is not a great leader yet. Havok just isn't a great leader. He'll always like at Scott's achievements and feel like he's in his shadow when a real leader just does there thing. His insecurities are his weakness, and he has a lot of them.

He leads them because his father is Corsair and they felt it was his duty to his father to carry on for him. That has nothing to do with his ability to lead.

Havok couldn't keep Quicksliver or Iceman in control as their leader. What makes him so good? He's a more easy-going leader, but then he's not, because he takes everything to the head. First rule of leadership, never doubt yourself.
