1- Cyclops (especialy after the direction of the last years)
2- Cable (too bad they took him of but nothing is forever in comics)
3- Gambit (I lost track of the cahun but steel a bad ass)
X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13419 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Who Are Your Top 3 Favorite X-Men Characters???
#2 Surge: When Noriko was first introduced I wasn't really feeling her character, but the character development she went through from Academy X to NXM made me fall in love with the character! She's a strong mutant and a great leader and I hope to see more of her in new comic books.
#3 UNDECIDED
1. Scarlet Witch - because shes hawt and kicks ass
2. Storm - shes just amazing
3. Mystique - cus shes so mysteriouss and obviously hottt
"You totally ripped me off though my order is different
"
Gambit first saw him in the animated series like hi because i had a talent for throwing cards when i was younger and he was such a freakin stud me and my sibs used to play x-men with everyone being their favorite character mine being Gambit.Im using the Death pic because who doesnt love a hero gone villain
Mystique wasnt as important in the animated series and i really disliked her character in the movies but when i first got into the comics she was so badass sly and deceitful. Not the most powerful villain the X-men have ever encountered but one of their greatest all the same.
Finally Rogue i had the hugest crush on her growing up nuff said. Not to mention she was always gambits girl in the animated series and it was so awesome that she wouldnt admit it
Honourable mention
Nightcrawler Being raised Catholic i was drawn to Nightcrawler like a moth to flame i thought it was cool that a super hero was Catholic like me
Note kinda funny that their all like one big family lol
I like ur choices & ur reasons, very sound very clear
my number #1 like u is Storm, I've grown to admire her character...aside from her powers just who she is as a woman...I like how she grew up not really dealin with the hatred of bein "a freak" but the exact oposite, she was worshipped as a goddess & with her powers...I guess she was! LOL
#2 would be Jean Grey b/c shes always had a positive outlook & she is very loyal & shes best friends with my fave X-Woman Storm!! lol, I also think bein both telepathic & telekinetic is a GREAT combination...bein able to move ANYTHING with ur mind, I mean come on the possibilities r endless
#3 Id have to say Beats, i LOVE how hes a super genius, hes blue (my fave color) & he might have 'limited' abilities but its rare to see him get his ass whooped! lol
Iceman: He is way cool, powerfull and he kicked ass in Zero Tolerance!!! I'm waiting for marvel to give him the spotlight again
Marrow: Image is better than whatever I could write about her
Polaris: Powerfull mistress of magnetism. When she was in X-Factor she was like a second in comand. A bold woman who took no nonsense from anyone its sad that someone needed to corrupt her character and make her nuts just for the hell of it and to separate her from Havok. Thank goodness they are back again. If only they came back to the ranks of X-men. Along with Peter David as writer.
His appearance, unique fighting style, and intellect
have always made Beast stand out from the rest.
An expert marksman. Her power over probability gives her an edge.
Love her nonchalant attitude.
Both his size & strength made him formidable. His fatty skin also
made him almost invulnerable.
1. Phoenix/Jean Grey: I have always loved Jean. She has a wonderful personality and is a great person, plus she has amazing powers. I really hope she is brought back soon :)
2. White Queen/Emma Frost: The days where I get bored of Jeans ocasionally overly nice personality, or I'm just feeling like a bitch, Emma is my girl. Her dialogue is hilarious, her powerset is unique and useful, and her attitude kicks ass. I find Emma becomming increasingly close to being my #1 now that Jean is dead
3. Psylocke/ Betsy Braddock: Hmm not my favorite picture of her, but thats besides the point. Psylocke, I don"t know what else to say besides the fact that she is pure bad ass :)
Well if it wasn't apparently obvious, I love psychic characters. And I find it oddly ironic that fans of these three particular characters tend to hate each other, yet these are without a doubt my top three favorite X-Men :))
2. Jamie Madrox, I went on collecting X-Factor, the line-up changed and I found this peripheral character with an awesome power in the spotlight, he wasn't the main dude at the time, not the funny one, the smart one, he was just the guy who was there but he developed, he was a nobody that now leads the X-Factor and is in my books what keeps it as such a kickass series, he's now the main guy, the funny one, the smart one, he's everything and yet still faces so many problems, just a really awesome character all u[.
3. Strong Guy, back in the day, he cracked me up. He's not focused on as much as he used to be which I kinda missed, but old school Strong Guy shall always have a special place with me.
Like many other people, my first exposure to the X-Men was X-Men the Animated Series. One of my favorite TV shows growing up. So, it's no surprise that my top 3 favorites were main characters. After seeing the X-Men in various mediums [seen all the shows and movies, as well as have reading X-Men #1 (1963) through Uncanny X-Men #410 (2002), and have read some issues of other X-books], I would like to think that I have gotten a real feel for the characters, especially from reading the actual source material. So, here we go. My top 3:
2. Cyclops: Originally while watching X-Men TAS, he was my favorite character. Probably because I saw him as a role model on how to be a great leader, brave, decisive, intelligent, etc. I also liked his powers. Now a day however, the glamour of his optic blasts has diminished, but he'll always hold a special place in my heart as my original favorite X-Man.
I would also have to say his '90s outfit was my favorite of his.
3. Storm: Originally while watching X-Men TAS, I had no care in the world for Storm. She hasn't become a favorite of mine until the last few years when I actually went back to read the comics. When the originals left and were replaced following Giant Sized X-Men, I was not a happy camper. Jean was gone! (thank God she came back shortly afterwards--and yes I know it was really the Phoenix Force but still--because Jean as they said in the comics helped make the "heart" of the X-Men). However, Storm then began to grab my attention. She was smart, creative, lover of life, and really powerful! Then when Jean (or the Phoenix Force) and Cyclops were both gone, Storm was still there and she successfully filled the void.
2- why not, everybody likes wolverine in some way.
3- Jean Grey. i've always been a fan of her mainly because of her powers
for the most part the 90's cartoon series is what made me like the x-men from the get go
1.GAMBIT is the best at what he does, trained from a family of theives but fights like an assassin . He's a pimp when it comes down to the ladies.lol
2.SILVER SAMURAI best swordsman & kick ass character.
3.JUGGERNAUT is a beast nuffsaid.
numero uno: COLOSSUS why: selfless, had a soft side to him but was strong when the occasion called, jus a lot in common wit him
Numero Dos: BISHOP why: badass lol. strongminded character that knows that fighting for a cause that u believe in is never the easiest thing to do. somethin that i realized growin up.
Number three: GAMBIT why: first of all, jus an amazing character, all that power jus waiting to be realized. like him i feel a potential inside me to do something great, i just need to find the means of making it kinetic= making it happen
ok,just mentioning i'm only reading classic x-men right now [on #20 right now :)]
1.wolverine:he's the best at what he does and what he does isn't very nice..it is pretty cool though
2.magneto:he formed his own group, had a temporary asteroid base in space, and almost killed the x-men with a balloon [see my blog]
3.the blob:at this time:he hates the x-men and magneto,he's big and can't be moved so yeah..pretty epic
might change later
1. Deadpool. I like him very much when knowing him thru the game Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Then I read his book suicide kings and merc with a mouth series. but his image on the X-Men origins were screwed up. This is truly a funny and deadly character.
2. Nightcrawler. Kurt's demonic appearance could be threatening, but he is a strict Catholic which means he is a definitely, definitely a good guy. He is a teleporters also. And the runes all over his body makes him unique..and COOL.
3. Iceman. he could control waters and turns it into ice. he makes ice to do everything at its will. it is great.
Sorry no pics, im sure u know which hero that i meant...
1.) Jubilee - as a kid always had a sort of a crush on her and thought how cool it would be to have her powers the ability to generate explosive energy blasts, as well as the ability to detonate matter on a sub-atomic level. I am wondering whats gonna become of her as far as the whole vampire arc. Also truthfully if i ever have a daughter I would love to name her Jubilee.
2.)Colossus - in a nut shell could u imagine having he powers he has super strength and near invulnerability due to ur skin!!! dude gotta be one of the coolest powers ever. Also his character is just awesome he has a passion for art and is so wanting and willing to protect the ppl he loves.
3.) Kitty Pryde - to have the ability to not only walk through walls but the ability to be able to pull other objects though the wall with u... thats just awesome. i do believe it is always a power not unfamilaiar to flying that most all ppl want to have or at one time or another all ppl wish they have
Not only are they my top 3 favorite x-men but they are in my top 5 fave characters, so here is my take.
1. Ive always had a connection to wolverine he is my favorite character probably ever. I think he is a solid character and has had good development over the years if written write. Not afraid to jump into things headstrong and with a feiry temper yet stands by his beliefs and just basically calls his own shots. Hes been around long enough and has probably been through all of it. He has the tough personality but at times can act like your best friend if you need it. He is in my opinion one of the go to guys of the x-men his healing factor is jacked but from some of those events like nitro exploding and him healing, he has though badass moments like that. Basically he hangs with the big guys sometimes even if he is 5'3 his agility, adamantium, and years of experience give him an edge in alot of fights even if it is completely one-sided in the other person's favor. i would rather have wolverine on my team anyday.
2nd. Emma Frost:- She is my favorite female character in any comics and makes my top 5 list in favorite characters anyway. I liked her because she is to me solid in character and a pretty powerful one at that if you think about it. She is a very powerful telepath on levels near or is on the level of charles xavier IMO. She is a good strategist and a strong female character. She is extremely intelligent and very cunning, and is a decent h2h fighter when it comes down to it when she uses her diamond form. She just isnt another dumb blonde, she is a great all around character , has a solid foundation and continues to surprise me. Good fighter smart and powerful and not just a pretty face . I just havent seen that in a female character for awhile.
3: Gambit , the ragin cajun. I liked Gambit for his light attitude and just easy going nature in life. He has shown great agility and his powers are one of my favorites. Good fighter extremely agile and anything he picks he can virtually make it a weapon
