X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13419 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Who are the worst X-Men ever?

"Beast and Emma are both brilliant here. They're dynamic, intelligent characters and have evolved quite a bit (both physically and emotionally) over their long careers. Watching them spar verbally is a real treat.
"pixelized said:No idea, some place where they'll need more than just his brain."I like Beast, but i think he should be on a different team."Which one?"

They all suck
now put down the knife, Fanboy/Fangirl, I'm just joking
i only make fun of them cause no one else does and it's how i get my jollies lol ( i happen to like the x-men)

Wow.
Tell me he's joking in this scan.
I'm not against gay characters but I'm strongly against characters suddenly becoming gay (or I suppose suddenly becoming not gay but I can't think of an example of that)."
Thats why I don't read Ultimate X-men. I mean as soon as I found that Ultimate Colossus was gay and Professor X "liked" Jean Gray I was like I couldn't handle ths at all.
I dont care if Beast is literally gay or not. He's a crappy character and it has nothing to do with his sexual orientation.
"so you read all the way to ultimate x-men #77 before saying you've had enough?"
Actually I stopped around the time last year where supposedly Professor X died.
Let's see here...
Maggott, Maggot, Magott, whatever his name was. I swear I've seen his name spelled differently at least a couple different times.
Cecilia "I don't wanna be an X-Man, okay I'll be an X-Man, now I'm gone again." Reyes.
Beak. Oh come on both he and that whole special class just sucked. Come to think of it I didn't like any of those new kids.
Stacy X or X-Stacy, whatever. I liked Iceman's quote about how eveyone these days that spends 5 minutes in the lobby thinks they're an X-Man.
That's all I have for now, I might think of more later.
"Lantern Prime said:Maybe. I have all my collections stashed up in one big plastic box."pixelized said:so 79?""so you read all the way to ultimate x-men #77 before saying you've had enough?"

Emma Frost. "I want to be psychic and cool and British like Psylocke, but I can never quite pull it off because I'm not British. Hey, Jean was successful at this thing, I'll just take her life! You know what will REALLY put me over? I'll develop a secondary mutation! Telekinesis would be far too useful and make it too obvious that I want to to be Jean... I know! I'll be a second-rate Colossus knock-off with diamond skin (because I'm superficial! Or am I?? No, just kidding, I am.) because then I can be the muscle! That totally meshes with my past characterization! I love to get my hands dirty, but I don't like to pry into people's minds because my character has been massacred since I became a regular with the X-Men."
The affair, dozens of students killed under her watch, no one trusts her, Kitty saw her as evil personified more or less. Manifest Destiny even had a story that highlighted why Emma doesn't belong. She cries at the end because she is being forgiven or some such tripe. It's forced as hell, it's been years and she's still a square peg being jammed further and further into the round hole. Her characterization is spotty and inconsistent. She is the worst X-man, IMO.

LMAO! Someone's pissed.

Idk, now that i sit here and think about it, i don't wanna say she doesn't belong, i just think about how Generation X was hesitant about her, but they learned to love her, so why haven't these groups of adults done the same?
Personally, I think Beast has overstayed his welcome. I just don't see why he needs to exist anymore. He's ugly as hell, he's no longer the wisest man around, and the "blue character" spot can easily be owned by Nightcrawler alone.
"LMAO! Someone's pissed."I am a little tired of her being force-fed to me, but I'm not pissed. I'd be pissed if everyone just took to her. At least some writers and characters agree with me.

Loading all the de-powered kids onto a single bus was monumentally stupid, and she is accountable in my eyes. The Cuckoos were another cock-up. Make that 2 or 3, actually. As for the adults not "learning to love" her: they aren't as naive and impressionable. Also, Emma isn't even the same character she was in Gen X. That's part of the problem.

LMAO!! That image makes me smile.
The matter of Emma mishandling that matter is just a huge cluster-%$#@ of exactly why her and Scott's tenure as headmaster and headmistress has been absolutely disastrous for young mutants and the X-Men. They both should have had the foresight to see that the grounds were unprotected, and sending a bus-full of the most hated minorities on the planet out the front door was a huge tactical error. Emma has given everyone reason to distrust her. She was a villain before, and she also played host to Cassandra Nova more recently. I certainly wouldn't turn my back on her.
You say the both should have seen it coming, yet you drop the blame in Emma's lap. why is that? idk, given the circumstance i would have done the same thing. People that are after mutants would attack when they are at their weakest. Having 90% of the population is a weakpoint, so why wouldn't you want to get the kids off of the campus?? Emma has been a hero longer than she was a villain, why do people still hang onto that? Cannonball was a bad guy once upon a time too. Cassandra nova? the astonishing X-men thing?

Cassandra nova? the astonishing X-men thing?"I drop the blame on both of them. The difference is that Cylcops 1) Isn't psychic. and 2) Is a much better character who I am not giving reasons as to why I don't like him. Given the circumstances, those kids would have been much safer leaving separately or even being FLOWN in one of the half-dozen private jets they have. Why wouldn't you want to get the kids off campus? Because they are in constant danger because of what they were, regardless of where they are. Matters in mutant town reflect this logic well. Emma was a big villain. Part of the Hellfire Club. Kitty put it best when she told Emma why she hated her so much in the first place. When someone tries to kill you, you don't let go of it easily. Especially when they do it on a semi-regular basis/to all your friends as well.
"LOL, what happened in between her time in Generation X and Now that has kept her from being fully welcomed? Surely it wasn't just the affair."
Uhhh the parts to the overall story line like Colossus being gay. Being the fact that Colossus in the regular U is my fav X-Men then you know that really makes me kinda upset that he is in the Ultimate version. So yeah those were the reasons.
