Which X-Men or any Mutant's power would you want in your everyday life?

#2 Posted by JonSmith (4084 posts) - - Show Bio

Franklin Richards.

#3 Posted by JohnnyGat (1592 posts) - - Show Bio

Out of practicality I'd get Telepathy, out of sheer fun Nightcrawler's teleportation.

Dazzler! Her power would be awesome to go clubbing with!

Ill keep it simple flight, that way i could go wherever I wanted and wouldnt have to worry about plane tickets, lol

Telepathy. Extremely useful.

#8 Posted by jhazzroucher (18060 posts) - - Show Bio

Ororo Munroe aka Storm

#9 Posted by Veitha (3664 posts) - - Show Bio

Telepathy or telekinesis.

#10 Posted by FadeToBlackBolt (23390 posts) - - Show Bio

Storm's.

Absolutely no downside and never not completely useful.

#11 Posted by Matchstick (568 posts) - - Show Bio

Gotta go with Xavier's. It'd give you the best way to deal with morons.

#12 Posted by dangallant984 (1299 posts) - - Show Bio

Nightcrawller's powers are the ones I could see myself having the most use for, but I'd probably be better off having Wolverine's healing factor.

#13 Posted by consolemaster001 (6716 posts) - - Show Bio

Jean grey

#14 Posted by tomchu (533 posts) - - Show Bio

Eye-Boy, but I'd be hearing "You staring at me?" a lot.

Cannonball wouldn't be bad, commuting's hell for me.

But to be completely practical, I would say Jean Grey, TK or TP (TP would be better). And also to power to constantly come back alive. That would be awesome too.

#15 Posted by MrPsycho (14 posts) - - Show Bio

Its gotta be Angel, I mean, hes a fucking angel.

Xavier's telepathy.

Dani Moostar's animal empathy powers would be useful. I plan to work in an animal field, and it would also allow me to make my dog stop barking.

#18 Posted by IfDCRuledTheWorld (733 posts) - - Show Bio

For practical use....Nightcrawler's teleportation.

#19 Posted by RawrImADragon (245 posts) - - Show Bio

Madrox's powers. I could get a lot more stuff done in a day.

#20 Posted by x_29 (2375 posts) - - Show Bio

Wolvie's healing factor.

#22 Edited by judasnixon (8039 posts) - - Show Bio

Kitty Pryde's power. I would make fun of people all day and they could never lay a finger on me. I would be such a dick if I had that power....

#23 Posted by John Valentine (16337 posts) - - Show Bio

Madrox's.

Why would anyone need Wolverine's healing factor? Why would they want it?

#24 Posted by GonnaRain (758 posts) - - Show Bio

Emma's. It would be so damn useful, even more if you use it without any morals at all.

AND a Diamond Form just for fun. You could handle thieves and stuff with TP alone, but pummeling them to the ground while laughing at their bullets would be just to awesome.

#25 Posted by TheCasketFiller (62 posts) - - Show Bio

emmas, or wolverines or namors. for the simple fact of living a longer life, and not being to funny looking haha

i couldnt think of any other mutants who have a longer lifespan but look normal

#26 Posted by Backflip (2278 posts) - - Show Bio

@TheCasketFiller: There are plenty of other mutants beyond Emma if you want to live a longer life without consequence. To achieve longevity you need to shift to Diamond, which kinda sucks because you become an emotionless husk. Hardly the most inviting of people.

Personally...

Franklin Richard's Reality warping/Telepathy/Telekinesis is a fantastic shout

Jean Grey's TP/TK

Sage's TP/Supercomputer brain would be incredibly useful and practical.

Meggan's powers are so diverse that there is nothing I'd not be able to do really.

Ultimately comes down to Meggan or Franklin Richard's powers.

Maybe they live in a rough neighbourhood? Or they must be thinking of enlisting :P

Shadowcat's power would be sweet to have. I wouldn't need to bother with doors, and when I cross the street, I wouldn't need to "look both ways".

This, though I would still look both ways for the drivers sake.

Beast.

#31 Posted by Xorion (447 posts) - - Show Bio

1) Cable/Jean Grey/X-man - Telepathy and telekinesis best combination

2) Emma - Cause it's telepathy plus brute force and what else would you want

3) Wolverine - Healing factor and claws. Almost immortal with offensive ability that is also good

4) Colossus - Stay in steel form and live as long as you want

#32 Posted by TheCasketFiller (62 posts) - - Show Bio

@Backflip: choosing emma was for the telepathy and diamond form when needed. choosing Wolverine or Namor was for the longer life. I couldn't settle on which power i wanted for sure. Emma's, or someone who lives long

#33 Posted by akbogert (3285 posts) - - Show Bio

Not necessarily my answer regarding powers I'd definitely want (or want most), but frankly I've always thought Angel's wings were awesome. Were I more in shape and more prone to tattoos, I would probably get a full-back tattoo of wings like that.

It's probably best for everyone that I'm neither of those things :P

Wolverine's for practicality. Or Cyclops's for nostalgia.

Wolverine's healing factor or Professor X's telepathy.

#36 Posted by acer51 (2395 posts) - - Show Bio

Wolverines Powers, including his bones of course.

That way I'd be near-immortal and incapable.

Of course I'd still have to train to become as awesome as Wolverine but it could be done.

prodigy's powers, cloak's teleportation powers.

This, also I'd pull a Madrox and create a good amount of myself to go out and learn all they can so that when we rejoin I'll have a vast array of skills and talents.

@Storm_UltimateBadass: Meggan's got a plethora of powers, but basically she's catagorized as an elemental empathetic shapeshifter. AKA. Her emotions are tied to the elements and her mimicking abilities. This entitles her to

Control over all elements (Fire, Water, Wind, Lightning, Metal, Earth, Plant, Weather)

Shapeshifting abilities (From copying someones abilities, to become a wolf, dragon or even to become fire itself)

Empathy control (Control over peoples emotions)

#42 Posted by Veshark (9170 posts) - - Show Bio

Being an incredibly lazy individual, either Marvel Girl's TK or Blink's teleportation powers would be perfect for me.

Out of sheer fun, I wouldn't mind having Quicksilver's speed. There's a lot of fun to be had when you're moving at super-speed while the entire world around you is frozen in time ;)

She sounds like a bad ass, i should check out excalibur any issues in particular I should check out?

Elixir's. So I can not only heal myself, but others also.

Well... and on my way to work, when the trainstation is really crowded i sometimes wish I was X-23 ;)

#45 Posted by Backflip (2278 posts) - - Show Bio

@Storm_UltimateBadass: Very much so. I've got to go to work, but when I get back I'll dig out her shining moments :P
