Mine was the 80's Claremont team.
X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13416 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Which X-Men team in the comics were your favorite?
The Claremont teams from the 70s and 80s are my favorites, so anything with Storm, Nightcrawler and Colossus.
Classic X-Force and Generation X(Do they count?).
I love both these answers, I would love to see kind of a Hybrid of the two with some of the surviving members, Cannonball, Warpath, Chamber, Husk, ect.
Also there was an X man legacy team that i would like to see returned, Rogue, Cannonball, Gambit, Frenzy, Rachel Grey
Also a team with Domino and Colossus i really liked that couple, but yea there is alot of possible combinations
@oldnightcrawler: The 80s lineup of Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Kitty, Wolverine and Rogue is perfect.

pretty much, yeah.
that era definitely benefited from having Magneto, Cyclops, Xavier, Magik, etc.. as satellite members too, and the addition of Rachel near the end, but with those six as the solid core, it really didn't matter who was guest starring.
X-men blue squad
I liked the blue and gold squads, but I don't know how much I would have liked either if they hadn't had each other as their supporting casts. Honestly, I think my favorite part of the 90's was sort of at the end of that period, '93-94, where members of both squads would regularly be in either book.
Plus I kinda just liked how well it worked having like one big team spread over 2 books with 2 different writers, because they had to collaborate, but they both got to use everyone, so every character had more focus overall.
I don't know if either would make it into my top 10, but collectively they'd probably be like, my 3rd favorite.

There's something great about each of the line-ups. The one that rises to the top for me is the 80's Claremont era when every character got great story-lines, or at least, that's how it felt to me.
If the original X-Factor Investigations swapped Strong Guy for Warpath, it would've been perfect. But I still think it's my favorite lineup of all-time.
Classic X-Force and Generation X(Do they count?).
x-force definitley does not count especially classic x-force because x-men were rated as their number one enemy according to cables profiling i think gideon came second i think deadpool got 5th that goes to show you dp was really bad ass back in the day until they watered him down as a clown more than a fighter
dont encourage him :) classic x-force to x-men that is like comparing ukaraine to russia and i got my face slapped for one day saying to my ukraine girl that she was russian
@koays why the heck was namor on the x-men did he ever do anything spectular for the x-men or was he just cannon folder? .. i mean a guy who was able to beat iron man twice go toe to toe with the avengers survive a super nova from torch unfazed is a bench warmer for the x-men lol
