Which X-men needs an up dated new costume, new hairdo, whatever? 

While not new, I would like for Wolverine to have his x-force costume to be his main costume.

Jubilee can could use one and kitty could upgrade from the classic black/yellow.

@Lightburst: when I was a teenager, around the time Kitty returned to the X-men in the late 90's, I drew her in her X-men uniform but with the light blue of her late 80's costume in place of all the yellow. Now that I think about it, it's a little like how they ended up designing her for the X-men Evolution cartoon a few years later, but trust me when I say, it actually looked pretty good when I did it.

That Black'n'Yellow look isn't even a laughing matter at this stage in her life. She looked like nostalgic overkill on that Coipel cover for X-Men, either the costume goes or she does altogether.

@AgeofHurricane: @Rickbarry: I dunno, I think the modified uniform sort of suits her. If she's in charge of the school, she's sort of the face of the X-men in one way. It's also for this reason that I like that Wolverine's costume has evolved into a sort of modified uniform.

And she's traditionally been the point of view character, sort of the X-men's everyman, so, in that way, a more generic look fits. She also doesn't go by a super hero name any more, so why have a super hero costume?

I liked her classic blue and blue outfit in it's time, because it seemed to marry her ballet background with her ninja training, and that it seemed to reference Wolverine's monochromatic style, but I'd really hate for her to have that outfit now. Again, it just seems too super hero-y, too much a part of her childhood, not enough where she's at now.

@dangallant984: Yeah, well, considering she's been revoked of Headmistress status in ANXM's most recent issue and has now been relegated to being the O5's personal Nanny, it's all the more mandated. That, and the fact that she was indulging in the ultimate intimacy with some alien bullet for a couple years also detracts. I'm not saying she should go back to anything, i'm just saying she needs a redux. A good one, all the other leading X-Ladies are getting one, why shouldn't she ?

@AgeofHurricane: oh, I wouldn't be opposed to Kitty getting a new outfit, if it was good, I just don't have a problem with the one she has. I think every other update she's had has looked pretty bad.

The all-white Ultimate outfit has been by far the best, and I do think that something in that direction would probably be the way to go. I just think that for where the 616 Kitty's at, if she's going to go with something that minimalist, why not just have a modified school uniform?

I think it was acceptable back then, but I think there are modern artists who are much, much better.

I mean, his work on the old Batman titles and Superman is iconic, but I personally don't like his art.

I think they should make a team that's an amalgamation of Gen X/New Mutants/Young X-Men and revamp there costumes so they are similar to the Alex Ross redesigns

Yea I think that's why they went with that costume, it looks less "X-Men" and more "superhero" but Adams art does it no favories at all and I thinkthey should just makes the thinks on his head stripes and not sticky outy.

Yea I think some over looked characters on a team would be good, Chamber, Jubilee, Husk, Blink, Prodgy, Hellion, X-Man ect

I'm okay with Havok's 80's look, but I hate the Uncanny Avengers look. And yes there is a difference.

@Jonny_Anonymous: I think Adams is just drawing it like he did in the 60's, maybe he missed a memo.

@knighthood: totally forgot he still had that look in the 80's, I guess I usually blank out on the replacement era. But I kinda like it both ways. Except the belt that doesn't close, those things always bug me.

I would like to see them phase out the standard basic X-Men uniforms. Kitty Pryde, Dani Moonstar, Pixie, and Karma needs their own look. They finally got Magik out of that old New Mutant uniform, and she looks great...

Jubilee and Hope are my favorite that I have heard so far...

Besides that how bout Magneto... I mean he has supposedly switched sides but he kept the same costume? or how bout Psylocke I feel like she has been wearing that same outfit forever...

I agree with judasnixon. They need to get out the "rookie x-men" look. For me specifically Moonstart, and Pryde. Only problem is I can't think of one for Pryde. She's not really superheroish for me. Also Rouge needs to go back to her previous look. I would love for Sunfire to get a new look as well{I love his AoA look.}

Saving Wolverines life from an angry horde of alien gangsters in a casino aboard a space station  seems pretty out in the field to me.  So does battling alongside Captain America  in an assault on an underground A.I.M facility.

I don't understand why people are hating on Kitty's old school look. QQ's punkish edge would be lost the second he dons a uniform.

i want to say pixie, but with that pink hair it could all just go so terribly wrong. Im thinking kitty pryde in the 80's wrong.

and maybe get hope out of that armegeddon/starwars style thing she's got going on. It was kind of cool, i just think it could be changed for the better and she could lose that shawl.

Ok, let me rephrase that: Thigh high boots on a guy is weird and underwear worn alone or, on the outside of the costume were always lame.

Thankfully, Superman does not have the underwear on the outside costume anymore.
