What it says in the title. I noticed mixed opinions about the upcoming house cleaning in the X-Universe (really it's happening everywhere in Marvel and DC come Fall though).
I'm curious as to which of the X-titles are Viners going to be reading? Are their any your currently reading but going to be dropping and why? Normally I wouldn't factor Wolverine's
books into this as they're considered their own family, but I think it's too relevant all things consider so I'll toss them in their (sans Best There Is which is ending of course).
Honestly I really like the variety of choices coming up, especially the talent being spread out and focused.

4.X-23 - MARJORIE LIU & SANA TAKEDA
5.GENERATION HOPE - JAMES ASMUS & IBRAIM ROBERSON

7..X-MEN - VICTOR GISCHLER & WILL CONRAD
8.WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN - JASON AARON & CHRIS BACHALO
I'd like to see what happens with the New X-Men before i decide about picking up New Mutants.
In fact i don't even know if I'll still be reading Generation Hope now that Idie's left and she's the ONLY reason that I'm even going to pick up Wolverine and The X-Men.
man that is a lot of x men titles....
but anyway, i won't be buying any, in preparation for Dc's reboot, i dropped all other comic book companies however, my friend who like marvel more than Dc, only collects Marvel, so we often trade and borrow each other's i lend him my Dc, he lends me his Marvel, so to answer the question, i will be reading whatever my friend is
I KNOW I'll get...
- UNCANNY X-MEN - KIERON GILLEN & CARLOS PACHECO
- WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN - JASON AARON & CHRIS BACHALO
- X-MEN LEGACY - MIKE CAREY & KHOI PHAM
- NEW MUTANTS - ANDY LANNING & DAVID LOPEZ
- UNCANNY X-FORCE - RICK REMENDER & JEROME OPEÑA
I'll pick up...
X-MEN - VICTOR GISCHLER & WILL CONRAD
depending on the new cast (But probably yes because of Jubilee)
I irregularly pick up:
X-FACTOR - PETER DAVID & LEONARD KIRK
X-23 - MARJORIE LIU & SANA TAKEDA
I'll get the X-Factor death issue and I'll get X-23 if the story line interests me and for the art.
And if ...
GENERATION HOPE - JAMES ASMUS & IBRAIM ROBERSON
...has Psylocke in it, like the cover suggests, I'll pick up a few of those issues... maybe/
* WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN - JASON AARON & CHRIS BACHALO
* X-MEN LEGACY - MIKE CAREY & KHOI PHAM
* NEW MUTANTS - ANDY LANNING & DAVID LOPEZ
I'll probably just stick to the ones I'm reading now probably, and just add in the Wolverine and The X-Men... See how it goes, which characters it involves.
X-Men Regenesis along with the DC reboot is going to make me one BROKE brotherIn all honesty, I haven't even decided, and this is the reason and then some. I've decided to completely re-order my pull list come Fall due to the moves both Marvel
and DC are making (I haven't invested enough time researching how all this will effect the Indy market, but I'm certain they'll have to make changes to keep up).
Given more attention to Indy books actually, and less to buying books just because they're in a family or story arc. And definitely no more Event following. That ends
with Fear, Spider-island, and Flashpoint, period.
Flashpoint's been great and at least their tie-ins didn't effect the main titles. Spider-Island is becoming awesome but I agree with you. It's all too much. I CANNOT be dealing with all this Fear Itself fallout as well, I just don't care lol
i don't even know if I'll still be reading Generation Hope now that Idie's left and she's the ONLY reason that I'm even going to pick up Wolverine and The X-Men.
SPOILERS!!!! I did not know that!
* UNCANNY X-MEN - KIERON GILLEN & CARLOS PACHECO
* WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN - JASON AARON & CHRIS BACHALO
* X-MEN LEGACY - MIKE CAREY & KHOI PHAM
* NEW MUTANTS - ANDY LANNING & DAVID LOPEZ
* UNCANNY X-FORCE - RICK REMENDER & JEROME OPEÑA
* X-23 - MARJORIE LIU & SANA TAKEDA
So im just adding wolverine and the x-men, i have no interest in generation hope with shaw and no idie(hope is a brat)
I'll pick op the first issues of all of them just to get a sense of which team's all about what.
I'm fairly certain I'll pick up X-Force and X-Men Legacy.
Only things involving Cyclops as a main character.
So Astonishing is the only definite pick-up for me.
All and any X-book, I read :D
Amen to that! lol
@jubilee042:
what country would that be?
man that is a lot of x men titles.... but anyway, i won't be buying any, in preparation for Dc's reboot, i dropped all other comic book companies however, my friend who like marvel more than Dc, only collects Marvel, so we often trade and borrow each other's i lend him my Dc, he lends me his Marvel, so to answer the question, i will be reading whatever my friend ismuch the same as this
I'll definitely be getting Uncanny X-Force. Apart from that, I'll probably consider either Wolverine and the X-Men or Uncanny X-Men. I also might get the Magneto mini.
the only one I'm unsure about is X-23....it's been really hard reading that book so far...I just can't get into the art at all
Defintley Uncanny X-Men, and probably Uncanny X-Force. I'm considering New Mutants because David Lopez is on art, and maybe Daken because the Runaways will be in it!
I'd be off this title given the cast alone (no Emma/Scott split? COLOSSUS?), but Kieron is doing a great job writing comic books in general. How can I resist?
* UNCANNY X-MEN - KIERON GILLEN & CARLOS PACHECO
I am team Wolverine all the way, but moreso team Chris Bachalo.
* WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN - JASON AARON & CHRIS BACHALO
The cast is finally coming into its own and I am loving all of them but Teon and Gabriel. Can't wait for the impending internal conflicts and I can't wait for the AMAZING James Asmus to hop on. You guys just don't know!
* GENERATION HOPE - JAMES ASMUS & IBRAIM ROBERSON
Inexplicably an AMAZING book.
* UNCANNY X-FORCE - RICK REMENDER & JEROME OPEÑA
For Jubilee ONLY and who knows how long that'll last.
* X-MEN - VICTOR GISCHLER & WILL CONRAD
This book has been good again, thankfully! I'll be happy to see someone from this bloated cast to the door.
* X-FACTOR - PETER DAVID & LEONARD KIRK
I'll give this a try. The teaser was definitely intriguing.
* ASTONISHING X-MEN - GREG PAK & MIKE MCKONE
I may skip this title as the ongoing megaarc is not really doing anything for me.
* WOLVERINE - JASON AARON & RON GARNEY
Daken is one of the most fascinating characters the X-Books have to offer right now. His run-in with the Runaways should be fun, but I'd be more excited about this title if Cammo came back on art chores.
* DAKEN DARK WOLVERINE - ROB WILLIAMS & MATTEO BUFFAGNI
I am enjoying the new cast, particularly Frenzy's inclusion, but this book I'd be cool with ending after Carey leaves.
* X-MEN LEGACY - MIKE CAREY & KHOI PHAM
In order of how much I wants.
X-FACTOR - PETER DAVID & LEONARD KIRK
X-MEN LEGACY - MIKE CAREY & KHOI PHAM
UNCANNY X-MEN - KIERON GILLEN & CARLOS PACHECO
X-23 - MARJORIE LIU & SANA TAKEDA
MAGNETO NOT A HERO (Mini-series) - SKOTTIE YOUNG & CLAY MANN
WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN - JASON AARON & CHRIS BACHALO
UNCANNY X-FORCE - RICK REMENDER & JEROME OPEÑA
GENERATION HOPE - JAMES ASMUS & IBRAIM ROBERSON
NEW MUTANTS - ANDY LANNING & DAVID LOPEZ
WOLVERINE - JASON AARON & RON GARNEY
Might not get the rest... sort of.. meh for me (but I probably will - but I'll buy in store, but only if they.. have a character I like or nice art lulz)
Will read the first issues of UXM, Gen Hope with Asmus, and WaTXM as well as X-Men just for Jubes.
If not up to my liking will just read X-23, Legacy(till Carey leaves and depending on who takes over)UXF, NM.
Definitely going to read:
- New Mutants
- Astonishing X-Men - I'm really interested in the upcoming arc focused on Cyclops & Storm.
Might read:
- Uncanny X-Men - If Cyclops is part of the team, then I will definitely be reading this title. Otherwise, I might check it out and see if it interests me.
Right now I'm reading all X-Books except New Mutants and Daken. But I'm going to have to cut back because I also like Spider-Man, FF/F4, and the Batman titles on DC. Frankly, I'm disappointed they didn't eliminate some of these (like Gen Hope) post Schism. They have way too many books. I know they have a lot of stories to tell, but they need to get disciplined. I just don't have the money for all that PLUS all these M-F-ing events they're always having (once a year is OK, but EVERY quarter?!?). I'm giving them until December to prove which ones are worth buying. The rest will just get put on my trade list and I'll buy those as I have spare money here and there.
