Are they trying to get Scott to talk to present scott and thereby not alter the past, simply the future? Or are they trying to get Cyclops (Past) to realize what hes going to do is wrong so that once he goes back he'll not do the things he has done? Because if so, then all they'll do is create a fixed alternate reality where the Marvel Now uncanny xmen never happened and Scott makes better choices, but if they do do that, then it'll mean their trip to the future was pointless because it doesnt alter earth 616, or does it? Time travel in comics confuses me so can someone please explain?
