An idea I've been toying with for a while; some of the abilities of the X-Men would work wickedly together, which is of course why they function as a team. Which two heroes do you think would make the best combination? Cyclops and Angel? Nightcrawler and Colossus? Shadowcat and Beast? The possibilities are endless

Prof X and Quicksilver. Oh wait . . .

Colossus and Wolverine- Fast ball special

Storm and Magneto- Their power have alot of potential together like metal shards thrown into a tornado.

Gambit and Psylocke- Just kick ass.

Kitty Pryde and Marrow... now that would be cool!!

Storm and Jean Grey or Nightcrawler and Cyclops

Eh, I think they tried making a character that involved this idea. His name was Mimic and he wasn't very cool. Although I'll play along. Mikhail/Piotr Rasputin. He'd be kind of like Proteus...minus the whole body problem.

There were already Nightcrawler/Cyclops hybrids in HCT.

Magik and Monet. The ability to go anywhere, own a dimension coupled with genius-level intellect, super strength, flight, heightened durability, telepathy and good fashion sense would be an extremely powerful combination.

Storm and Gambit!

As a team, Magneto and Colossus.

As a hybrid, Kitty and Nightcrawler.

Iceman and Magma.

Lockheed and Mystique!

..would have the power of flight, fire-breathing, and, y'know, being a dragon, could also talk and drive a car.

oh, and look and sound like anyone.

Frenzy and Havok, Elixir and Trance, Sunspot and Gambit, and Rogue and Professor X

yeah, I've thought of that one before.. it's actually one they could do in the comics and have it make sense.

Morph and Multipleman

You can create an entire X team with the combination. Although there aren't any powers... still, quite amusing.

If Rogue perhaps absorbed their powers and a couple others, wouldn't she be able to duplicate herself, each one split into a specific character and use the said character's powers? She can be a one man army lol!

Gambit and Nightcrawler, Domino and Quicksilver, Multiple Man and Archangel, Rogue and Morph, Elixir and Kitty Pryde, Namor and Rusty Collins, Colossus and Jubilee

If you could combine Nightcrawler and Gambit's abilities into one character he could just teleport all over the place super quickly making contact with objects, then just tele out before letting them explode. I would literally just tele right up to people, touch their clothing, and let them try to strip down before it blows.
