What villains do you think don't make nearly enough appearances on the X-Titles?
I'm going with Proteus. I think his potential for mass murderer-type mayhem and large scale reality warping destruction is underrated. Yeah, there are other villains that do worse on a global scale, and yeah, he was just back on Muir a few issues ago, but I don't care. His return didn't quite quench my Proteus thirsts. I'd like to see him back for a long, epic x-over. And in my book, that crap in the exiles, where the Proteus from Earth 58163 possessed Morph, doesn't count as actually using Proteus.
The Purifiers should have used the remaining pieces from the Nimrod glove to return him by means of the Technarchy like they did with Hodge, Lang, Trask, Stryker and Creed.

That's right. I completely forgot. Nimrod found the module from Master Mold. When he touched it Master Mold's programming began to take over. The Purifiers put Bastion's head on Nimrod's body and recreated Bastion. So you're right.

@celestial_man: Well, Arcade is going to have a little spotlight in Age of X Alpha. PAD hinted that Shatterstar may have more connections to Spiral in a recent X-Position on CBR, but knowing PAD it'll be a year or two before we see anythign come from that ;) And I'd love to see the Orphan Maker & Nanny again :)
I think they should really crank up Gamesmaster as the ultimate X-villian he is the total oppossite of Profesor Xavier and a gazillion times more powerfull.
how about the long awaited return of Zaladane or is that some type of blasphemmy that or maybe more sauron and does anyone even remember the liveing monolith anymore ?

Fantastic Four for me, not so long ago. Arcade and his Murderworld has practically "played with" a virtual who's-who of superherodom well enough; that Johnny Storm instantly recognized, saw through his "toy shop" front.
Seriously, I love Arcade and all, he's either my first ( or second, whichever place I shall finally decide to place Mesmero in), but he doesn't belong here, this "Don't Appear Enough"; because even I know he's EVERYWHERE.
OK, I would say my villain mention on this thread would be MESMERO. His appearances may be sparse, for the most part especially in the 60s/ 70s / 80s alone ( I would say, one storyline per decade then), but each were pretty sweet, most of them, pretty memorable ( like that time he successfully brainwashed the X-Men into carnies)!!
funny, i read through this quick, and one would swear someone at the House Of Marvel read it too since just about every character mentioned here popped up.
myself Pandemic. I don't really like this character all that much, but i think it might be because they brought him into the fold, and didn't bother to elaborate more. classicwise i always want more of Technet, and Sat-Yr-9, who does seem to be around, but not really doing much except existing.
