I want to add an X-Men title to my pull list, but I only have enough money to add one. Which series is the best?

Without a doubt Wolverine and the X-Men. Though it may not necessarily be for everyone it is a very fun cleverly written book. I would reccomend it out of all the X titles. Second would probably be Uncanny X Force

Wolverine and the X-Men and then Uncanny X-Force, by a small margin. X-Factor is third, but you have to have a certain taste for it.

I'm guessing the tones of Wolverine and the X-Men, Uncanny X-Force, and X-Factor are all different. Am I right? And if so how are they different?

@theconman1876: WatX hands down is the best. And a cloooooose second is X-Force.

WatX is funny, but has some deep overtone with character developement.

X-Force is as it began, the darker side to the X-Men. Less drama, more action

X-Factor I am not too familiar with these days. I only have the original collection, which was the original first class on their own after being replaced by the "Claremont Five".

UXF. I'm only hesitant to include X-Factor because I'm many issues behind, but it normally is excellent, too.

    Titles - My Score

Uncanny X-Men - 7.5/10 - Good Series, but can fall flat at times

Wolverine and the X-Men - 9.0 - Brilliant, Hilarious Series. MUST READ

Uncanny X-Force - 9.0 - Poignant, Well Written, Emotional Roller Coaster, MUST READ

X-Factor - 8.0 - Funny, Easy to Read, but hard to jump on unless its a Point One issue

X-Men Legacy - 7.5 - Well Written, Interesting Characters, my only problem is the art and Rogue's Constant Whining

X-Men - 6.5 - If its a vampire story, avoid, else if, decent. A bit gimmicky as it constantly tries to guest star a hero

New Mutants - 6.5 - Funny at times, but the characters are relatively boring (Magma and Sunspot... meh). I only read this because I was a sucker for the original New Mutants team in the 80s

Astonishing X-Men - No Clue, I don't read it, but Whedon's run was supposedly the best, and I read a few of the Regenesis issues, didn't like it

Wolverine - Not a fan of Wolverine, but I heard 300 was good and that 305 was rubbish though.

Wolverine and the X-men is probably the best, but if you aren't getting any other X-books I would go with Uncanny X-Force, because it is less involved with outside stories.

Uncanny X-men. The small amount of Wolverine does wonders for my reading experience.
