So Comic Vine keeps messing up my opening..
Basically, with the new Regenesis, 6 books have been named to be split between the Gold and Blue X-Men teams.
Blue:
Uncanny X-Men
Generation Hope
X-Men
Gold:
Wolverine and the X-Men
Uncanny X-Force
X-Men Legacy
What will happen to the other X-Books, namely X-Factor, New Mutants, and Astonishing X-Men?
X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13416 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
What about the other books?
I read on some solicit for a November issue of New Mutants that they themselves would have some trouble with the split but they're still staying as a team to go look for Blink.
We know there is gonna be a split between Cyclops and Wolverine which ultimately leads to everyone choosing sides. I'm just eager to see what the last straw is that causes the proverbial dam to break between the two, I think once that is out in the air it can be more clear as to whose on what side and why, specifically I'm talking about New Mutants and X-factor since we've already seen the others

@Hawkeye446: The New Mutants solicit says that there's a New Mutants Blue variant, so i guess they'll be blue and that teaser just hasn't been released yet. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if X-Factor aren't really effected, but I read an interview with the X-Factor writer who says that Emma Frost is going to approach them and make an offer so we'll seeOkay, so New Mutants possibly will join Blue, and the book isn't getting cancelled. Cool!
And most people seem to think that X-Factor will stay solo, or might eventually join a side?
What about astonishing?

@MrUnknown: No it doesn't, it just doesn't show any reference to any of the major X-Events.I wouldn't know, but the cover of issue #44 is...
I doubt Astonishing will be effected. Apart from Joss Whedon's run, it usually takes place a bit out of continuity. Not saying it's not canon, it just isn't and doesn't effect the X world in any particular way.
And here we have it, the last teaser.Havok running X-Factor! Awesome! Except the art on that teaser is terrible!

Looks like X-Factor is gonna be Gold team, it looks like Strong Guys arm on the top right of the gold teaser. I doubt Astonishing will be effected. Also "The book opens in the aftermath of X-MEN: SCHISM. New readers have no fear; you don't have to have read anything to jump on board. But if you've been compelled by X-MEN: SCHISM, this is a great place to follow some of its repercussions."

I really cannot wait.
@Hawkeye446: BTW, Astonishing's going to be something of the neutral book Post-Schism, it's going to be affected but "I'll just say that the ASTONISHING X-MEN book may be the only place you'll see certain heroes talking face-to-face."WHOOT! Astonishing, besides from wolverine, is the only X Book I am not getting! I need to jump in, but don't know when! :S Preferably before Schism ends!

EDIT - Your not exactly missing anything that's relevant, except if you like Armor and Agent Brand.
@Hawkeye446: Jump in whenever you like lol. EDIT - Your not exactly missing anything that's relevant, except if you like Armor and Agent Brand. It doesn't need to be relevant! and I would, but I like starting at the beginning of Story arcs, and Astonishing has been crazy lately.
@Hawkeye446: Start at Ghost Box then and be sure to pick up that Story-arcs miniseries and also Xenogenesis (GREAT read)I have the first three trades of Astonishing. Eventually, I will get all of them, but right now, I want to jump onto a recent issue.
I think Namor and X-23 are the only x titles not involved as of right now.I forgot Namor! What about Daken?
@Hawkeye446: Start from #36 then.Good idea!

@Hawkeye446: I haven't read it, It seemed to deal with more of the Avengers and Wolverine than the X-Men or mutants.Your right. I mean, I have only read the most recent issue (which I Loved) but it wasn't an X Book.
