The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
X-Factor i see as out of the same loop as the other X-titles so i don't see much changing in that book when it comes to Regenesis. The other two are anybody's guess.
I read on some solicit for a November issue of New Mutants that they themselves would have some trouble with the split but they're still staying as a team to go look for Blink.
@Hawkeye446: The New Mutants solicit says that there's a New Mutants Blue variant, so i guess they'll be blue and that teaser just hasn't been released yet. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if X-Factor aren't really effected, but I read an interview with the X-Factor writer who says that Emma Frost is going to approach them and make an offer so we'll see

I'm just eager to see what the last straw is that causes the proverbial dam to break between the two, I think once that is out in the air it can be more clear as to whose on what side and why, specifically I'm talking about New Mutants and X-factor since we've already seen the others

Okay, so New Mutants possibly will join Blue, and the book isn't getting cancelled. Cool!

Yes, I am fascinated with where the other teams will go. Personally, I want them to join the coloured sides.
I've always been confused on how Astonishing fits into the whole X-men thing. I thought it might have been outside 616 but then they recently tied up the Breakworld stuff and the return of Kiity in Uncanny so now I am unsure.

I doubt Astonishing will be effected. Apart from Joss Whedon's run, it usually takes place a bit out of continuity. Not saying it's not canon, it just isn't and doesn't effect the X world in any particular way.
So I think the whole Schism thing is half the mutants believe they should live together and separate from Humans on the Island and the other be out living in the world with the Humans.

@Hawkeye446: And i was thinking those two being together and Storm's great "decision" would have something to do with the fall out of Schism, then again they did say that WOLVERINE would be in the story.

@Hawkeye446: BTW, Astonishing's going to be something of the neutral book Post-Schism, it's going to be affected but "I'll just say that the ASTONISHING X-MEN book may be the only place you'll see certain heroes talking face-to-face."

WHOOT! Astonishing, besides from wolverine, is the only X Book I am not getting! I need to jump in, but don't know when! :S Preferably before Schism ends!
