Why not read both? UXM has only had one issue, but it was great.

@consolemaster001: I personally love it (aside from Emma's dialogue issues, but that's another matter). But I also love Cyclops.

If you're interested, I'd check out the first one or two issues and form your opinion from there. But if you're steadfastly against Cyclops and what he's doing, I'm not sure how much you're going to enjoy this book.

On top of what said, keep in mind that ANXM and UXM are more than likely going to have a lot of interaction. The books are two sides of the same story. The O5 were brought from the past to confront present-day Cyclops - that's their entire purpose. So expect a lot of Cyclops - whether it be dialogue about him or his actual presence - in ANXM.

I'd personally read neither. They're not X-Books, just bad, convoluted and contrived fan-fics.

    Imo.

I like reading Uncanny X-Men with a White out pen and a black fine felt tip pen. Just for the Emma and Magik speak bubbles. It reads a lot smother that way.....

I enjoyed the first issue of Uncanny but im a huge cyclops supporter i like ANXM but its a lot of anti cyclops which i dont care for but if you are against what cyclops is doing then you would probably prefer ANXM

@havoc1201: TBH man, ANXM's CHARACTERS are behaving anti-Cyclops, but the story is very pro-young Cyclops. Both the books' stories tie in together as a story of Current Cyclops redemption.

I hate to admit it, but they are both the best X-books on the market IMO, and both written by the same guy. It honestly matters who you give a crap more (O5 or Cyke's revolution), but these books are kinda intertwined. Its like reading New 52 Swamp Thing without reading New 52 Animal Man. (If you get what I mean)

@Avenger85: i see what you are saying but even young cyclops was treated like crap at first just bc he was scott, but ANXM is a one sided book at the moment i cant wait til the O5 get old scotts side of the fight.

@TheCasketFiller: I guess they will be in the book for the foreseeable to future according to Bendis. It kinda makes sense seeing how Marvel placed such a huge emphasis on the O5 interacting with the current X-world.

@consolemaster001: Yea.. like everyone else is saying I wouldn't read Uncanny if you're not too fond of current Cyclops, but I read both books and I think their quite good.

Even though Uncanny has only had one issue, I so far much prefer All-New. I'm really enjoying the dialogue between the old and new X-Men and the concept itself.

Like already said, it depends on which characters you like the most, the O5 and maybe some of the Jean Grey School's Staff like Kitty or Beast, or Cyke's Team and the new recruits.

Me for example, I'll go with Uncanny all the way, and the only thing that keeps me reading ANXM is Cyke's team occasional appearances, and the amazing art.

@consolemaster001: Damn you made me laugh....Uncanny X-Men is good. To paraphrase CTG, they are mean to interact with each other. They mostly revolve around cyclops and the summation of his poor direction since '01. All New is the best X Book out right now, hands down.

@TheCasketFiller: I don't see them going anywhere anytime soon. The entire book is based on them. ANXM and UXM are the best X-books out right now. Hopefully the new UXF will be at the same level. It's only one issue deep like UXM, but UXM had a great lead in from the first few issues of ANXM.

    Both.

Although it remains early days for Uncanny, but seeing as how Bendis is on both books, i would think that (while not necessarily hand-in-hand) both books will continuously play off each other.

@guardiandevil: Awesome! good to hear, because i liked the O5.

i hope they redeem cyclops, i would love for him to look good towards the public.

isn't anyone else noticing a complete disregard of the space time continuum though?

Exactly what I was going to say. Its probably gonna be a never ending crossover somewhat.so I'm gonna buy both and have to drop some other books.

@TheCasketFiller: Well Bendis seems to be portraying Cyclops from both angles: terrorist to the world and sympathetic. I think we've all been ignoring the space time continuum issue due to the excessively strong All-New story that is being written.

@guardiandevil: hey thats fine with me. since we do not live in the MU i doubt we will suffer any ramifications haha i have only read the first All New book, excited to read the rest! I'll have to get on that.

I'm just tired of the X-Men always having such a hard time with being liked. i would love to have the world look at them like the Avengers or the FF. Not for the rest of time, but at least a few years.

To be honest, UXM had a great start, if not better than ANXM, but well, that's my opinion.

Anyways, I'm happy even with ANXM, mostly because of the idea that maybe one of the O5 will switch sides.
