What five characters do you think should get their powers back?
X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13410 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.

Those are artificial though. She still doesn't have the Mutant X-Gene.

But the exact same powers as before. Talk about cop-out."
Yeah it was. I heard their the same but more powerful. Not sure if thats true or not.
Wind Dancer, Sunfire, Quicksilver, Magneto and Polaris. (allthough Sunfire and Polaris got them back its just not the same, nor is Quicksilver's).
The others deserved to be depowered.

"Renascence says:"What five characters do you think should get their powers back?"none of them, I think more should lose their powers, the M-Day did nothing...characters like Wolverine, Cyclops or Emma Frost should have been depowered and Magneto should have stayed depowered...he deserved it"
Yeah, i agree with that.

I agree with this, too, though I think they would've copped out on that, too.
Wolverine can't go simply for sales if some of the other big players would be depowered.
My five:
Wind Dancer
Magneto
Moonstar
Marrow
Rictor
Definitely lots of "M" characters. Coincidence?
pixelized says:
"Lets give Scarlet back her powers"
She may have been nice but she couldn't handel it, she should give it to her daughter if she's willing to think that far
Gibbon says:
"iSHADOW says:"jubilee. i dont like the whole wondra thing."I absolutely agree. Wondra's not bad, but I miss the Jubester. "
Jube's always been my favorite. I'd really love to see her get her powers back, but also keep the cool new "leader" attitude she has with the New Warriors. That'd rock.
Come on, Magneto is already re-powered, and i'm pretty sure Scarlet Witch still has her powers too.
I would pick someone interesting like Marrow, Chamber, Stacy-X, Beak and Angel Salvadore.
Seems like everyone with somewhat unique powersets got depowered, and those with generic powers got to keep them.

No. I'm saying if she decides to think that far
(God I wish she would:})

Yes, Nocturne.
pixelized says:
"If anything i'd think Marrow would be thrilled her powers were gone...along with Stacy-x"
You're wrong about both.
aztek_the_lost says:
"pixelized says:"Cause she had scales....plus i thought she stopped...doing whatever you call her profession"well she has stopped now cause she's a New Warrior why would she care about her scales? she could get whoever she wanted anyway"
That still doesnt change how people treated her due to her appearance.
same thing with marrrow....

I'd like her repowered and for her to keep that hot Wondra supersuit. That way she could blind enemies and drop a Buick on them.
How bout all of them, then just actually leave the ones that die dead to solve the "too many mutant characters problem".
Rictor, Dani Moonstar, Jubilee, Blob and Marrow.
I would say Magneto if I was sure that he is still powerless.
Sunfire actually never lost his mutant X-gene just got everything but an inch of his life drained from him by Rogue. How do you think she ended up with pyrokinesis? As for Lorna, she has the power of magnetokinesis back but it is artificial and stronger than she lets it on to be. She is merely using it like she did with her old powers but I think that she is now above and beyond Magneto's old level. Maybe she has a role to play with that.
Celestrion says:

Who said she lost her powers?
I agree, I don't think Wanda has lost her powers at all. She merely engaging in a nice little avoidant delusion.
Her conversation with Hank in Endangered Species seems to indicate that while she is acting like she doesn't know anything, she is aware of the situation that drove Hank to seek her out on some level. If she is aware, she probably still has her powers.

Lorna is not even close to Magneto's old levels. Even now.
Magneto manipulated electromagnetism on both a scale and range of energies beyond anything Lorna has ever done.
You have to remember, even when Lorna was a mutant, she was an artificial one. She was only a "latent mutant" who was exposed to a "genetic accelerator" (or something like that). She was not born with her abilities.
Not to mention Lorna has never worked intensively with her powers as Magneto has with his, which he has been doing since before Lorna was born. Even when he was teaching her on Genosha, the instant he got his powers back and stopped biggybacking on hers in Magneto: Dark Seduction, she was cut off from the levels of powers he was manipulting through her.
Lorna will never be on Magneto level of power or skill in using those powers.

Well I suppose if she wasn't burdened with the bizarre plot element to keep all those bones that stuck out of her skin. Its so strange that she's supposedly depowered but yet a mutant by any other standard (other than genetically).
I'd say she's just lost control of her powers and she's prime to get them back.
Celestrion says:
"I never liked Marrow, her powers creeped me out alittle..."
Haha, well that certainly was the point.
It was cool to see another truly "cursed"-type power. It wasn't pretty and that's what made it awesome.

If you are a latent mutant you are a mutant. You may not have any powers or know you have any powers but your mutant X-gene is still there.
Yeah but she has always been focused on one level concerning her powers. And they say that her powers are now stronger than ever. What makes you think that she can't be on Magneto's level of power and Lorna herself not know it. Maybe she won't surpass him in skill but she has plenty of that in her own right.
Alright, I admit I exaggerated too much but she may very well be at Magneto's old level but she continues to use it like she used to use it. Notice how her powers didn't reflect anything concerning electromagnetic energy or electricity in the past and Magneto's does. Though, maybe I am overexaggerating this a bit.
Because she has yet to show any kind of scope of power or range of energies on par with the feats Magneto has pulled throughout his 45 year history. Magneto has held the entire planetary EM field together while fighting a younger, stronger version of himself (Joseph) and the X-Men in Magneto War.
He started playing around with space-time when he created the traversable wormholes to bring Wanda to Genosha in Excalibur Vol.3/Avengers Disassembled.
That's how powerful he is.
Freakin' scary sh*t powerful.
Until Lorna shows that level of power, one can't make the claim that she has reached that level of power because that's a pretty extreme claim.

Was Magneto @ Omega level?
Which of the remaining mutants are/ or could be considered at Omega potential?
He is not classified as Omega Level by Marvel, but since Marvel has never actually stated what the parameters/requirements of what Omega Level are I don't pay attention to that much. Magneto has manipulated matter on a sub atomic scale (X-Men Vol. 2 #87, Uncanny X-men #212, Classic X-men #19) and he has partially discorporated (Uncanny X-men #275, X-Men Vol. 2 #3, X-Men Vol. 2 #87) which would seem to indicate that he has the potential to transcend his physical form.
Only seven mutants are classified as Omega:
Absolom Mercator/Mr. M
Gabriel Summers/Vulcan
Robert Drake/Iceman
Jean Grey/Jean Grey
Joshua Foley/Elixir
Franklin Richards/Franklin Richards
Quentin Quire/Quentin Quire
