I've read a bunch of different places in X-men, House of M a few years back, AVX last year, and just this past week or so I've read Uncanny X-men (Marvel NOW), All-New X-Men (Marvel NOW), Wolverine and the X-men, Astonishing X-men from start to finish, and Second Coming.

Now for my question; What next? I want to read more, what should I read? I plan on getting Schism, Messiah CompleX, and then not sure. I'm thinking anywhere from the end of House of M to now.

    • Uncanny X-men, where should I start?
    • Event like things, such as utopia and stuff, whenever San Francisco happened.
    • Colossus and Nightcrawler if they have any solo series or something,

@asgardianxeno929: sounds like you've read most of what I would read for contemporary X-men.

If you're interested in reading a great Nightcrawler and Colossus story, that also happens to be the beginning of the X-men living in San Francisco, I would recommend Brubaker's run from Divided we stand,Divided, from The Uncanny X-Men #495 to #499. it's got a great story about Nightcrawler and Wolverine going to see Colossus when he's down and getting into some trouble; it's a pretty fun little arc.

@asgardianxeno929: my pleasure! always glad to give that arc some more attention; it's not one of the great classics, but it is a personal favorite of mine.

While it doesn't meet your criteria, I'd recommend David's X-Factor series. I recently started reading it, I have the first five volumes in trade, and it 'a a really great take on an X-Team. It's dark, but fun, and has everything to do with the Decimation. It's really interesting to see how characters that aren't members of the main X-Teams react to the House of M and the Decimation.
