who do you think is the best or greatest x-related team of all time ?

my second question is out of all these teams, who is the most powerful, who would win in a Battle and my third question is for the teams in the past, what team would you like to see again, if the writer from first class x-men decided to write for any of teams?
Out of all the past team, i think I would like to see the blue team in action again. They were the first responce team. The A-Team, if you will. Maybe even a six part mini with X-Force (Cannonball, Sunspot, Shatterstar, Meltdown, Domino, Warpath, Siryn, and Cable). They would still be cool to read. As for the most powerful, I'd have to give that to the X-men Gold team. I mean, Storm, Jean Grey, Iceman, Bishop, Archangel, and Colossus. Come on, they'd be a b!tch to deal with now.
Yeah, they stand out as far as X-Teams go. They had a good feel to them, and their stories rocked. I always thought Archangel would have been a better fit on the Blue team rather than the Gold.
I thought Generation X was awesome right up until it got all weird with frogs and leprachauns on every page.
I really, really liked X-Statix a lot (as evidenced by my avatar). It had nothing to do with the main X-titles but I thought it was really smart and innovative. It gave an entirely new perspective to the mutant superteam concept and I really appreciated that. It really seemed like what a superhero group would be if they actually existed in the real world. I loved the old school looking art too.
Uncanny X-Force #1 Right now it's most definitely the new Uncanny X-Force with Wolvie, Warren, Bets, Fantomex & Wade. Before that I was seriously drawn to the X-Factor Investigations team: Madrox, Siryn, M, Guido, Wolfsbane, Rictor and Layla. My nostalgic team will always be the Australian Outback X-Men: Storm, Wolverine, Psylocke, Colossus, Rogue, Havok & Dazzler (forget that nasty clone, Madelyn Pryor)
My #1 will always be Excalibur circa issue #50 - Captain Britain, Meggan, Phoenix, Shadowcat, and Nightcrawler, with Kylun and Cerise. They are closely followed in my heart by Whedon's Astonishing (including Armor). After that my favorite lineups are X-Men Blue and present day X-Factor, although I think Longshot AND Shatterstar is a little too much Mojo for any one team.
I guess that means for me it's hard to separate the team from the writing. On paper I've had more favorite character collected in one place, but if the writing wasn't awesome they didn't become a favorite.
