I am loving the artwork in Generation Hope 16 and 17 (April and May so this post is somewhat spoilery..)
His style matches the ages of the characters in the story. There's not a lot of big muscles on the guys, big boobs on the girls or big ridiculous hair. The art clearly shows his Asian influence, but is very distinct from most Manga. It almost reminds me of some of Carlos Pacheco's earlier work with X-men.
By the time the big battle is brewing, I don't even notice there's practically no background landscape in the panels. See for yourself. What do you think?
