In x-men 2, Team on a mision of saving a crashing plane. 3 mutants risk their life on top of the blackbird when rachel, could have easily lifted the crashing plane to its destination. Im sure her tk can take on the load. can she?

typhoid mary/intruder got detected by rachel and psylocke. why didnt they telekenetically freeze her? or use a force field around her? Why did psylocke just ran after her, she could have flied, that would have been a faster and better way of getting to her.

I don't know about easily but she probably could have stabilized it but what if she passes out due to the stress of carrying an airplane loaded up with passengers and luggage as well? It's better to play it smart and do what they did then trying to rely on one person to carry across and unknown distance. On freezing Typhoid Mary, Rachel offered to stop her but Psylocke wanted to follow her to see where and who she was going to meet after she stole the data and arkea

Rachel didnt offer to help. In fact she said, you're on your own Psylocke. The only help she made was track typhoid mary through the computer and send psylocke her uniform through a robot. On page 4, psylocke saw typhoid, she didnt telepathically or telekenetically stopped her. she resulted to tracking her to her boss when typhoid got out of the building.

Psylocke vs daredevil in avx, ok, she cant use her telepathy on daredevil. why didnt she tk freeze him and shove a psychic knife in his brain? OR tk freeze him and throw him around walls while she clean her nails or fix her hair. GRRRR

@westfriesianman: when psylocke lost her eyes she also became a precog..... but we are suppose to forget & not mention that either, but one would think that power would come back now that she not only is a more powerful telepath but also returned to her original body for a short period of time

Most writers don't really think of creative ways that superhuman characters could use their powers. Grant Morrison, for example, really pushed the envelope with what telepaths and telekinetics could do, because he understands and is entertained by those powers. Most writers, though, have overly simplistic approaches to both powersets, so most don't bother exploring the upper limits of those particular powers.

Yes I think either Rachel or Storm could have landed that plane a lot more easily than the other 3.

And I think Psylovke or Rachel should have been able to stop Typhoid on there own. It's prettyych PIS/WIS on Wood's part. Hopefully there is a payoff in the end that makes it worthwhile.

If the jet was so typically brought to safety that would have been the most boring issue ever and what's worse is we wouldn't have been able to see Rogue get all action-girly before she was fridged by Remender. Sometimes the fans don't use their brains and prefer to settle for featz featz featz as opposed to the melodramatic cerebral development that is the X-Men's stock-in-trade.

Critical analysis requires an objective stand point. Take in all the variables.
