Anyone else loving what Gillen is doing with him? or is it just me?

I cannot stand the new take on Sinister, too showy and silly for my tastes

I like it.

I thought the PF 5 got taken down to easily, but I am really curious what the rest of the Extinction Team is going try and pull.

I did like seeing the different displays of skills from the PF 5 and I loved Sinister's defenses, but Sinister seems more selfish and deluded than evil.

It's interesting but I never liked the villain that much.

It's an interesting reinvention.

The old Sinister didn't really have a motive. This one has a Napoleon complex because he's human. That's my take anyway. The old Sinister just killed stuff, whereas this one is a conquerer. This new sinister could be a crossover villain.

@Nightcrawler23: That is what I was thinking too. I hope the keep him around for a x-book cross-over

I like what Gillen's done with him, but he's getting a little obsessed. That obsession is slowly killing a soon ending title.

He even poses a threat to the Avengers.

I think the new Sinister is fantastic. Hope that he sticks around beyond the end of Uncanny as he is. It's great that Gillen has finally given him a clear end-game to all of his machinations and manipulations. It's great that they've finally ditched the outdated 80s/90s outfit too and he's now a dapper villain with a costume that harks back to the character's Victorian roots. Gillen is doing a really great job at showing how inventively evil a genius Sinister is. The done-in-one story with the rebellious clone was sheer awesomeness with enough plot, characterization and ideas that other writers would take 2 or 3 issues to put out.
