Hi everybody, I'm a new member ^^

Rogue is not my favourite character (and so I don't know her too much), but I find her absorbing power very interesting and fun. I've got questions about it :

1/ She needs to touch the naked flesh to absorb power but could she absorb Silver Surfer's powers (because to his silver skin) ?

2/ Does his power work on a god ?

She could absorb through touching someones hair?

Rogue only has to touch the person, not nessisarily skin, and the silver sufers power are based on a sentient machine that is hard wired into his nervous system that lets him tap the power cosmic.

Hum, it comes from Silver Surfer : Requiem, so I think it's only valuable for this issue ^^ By the way, you're true : I don't think Rogue can absorb Silver Surfer's powers because his silver "coat" must protect him against this kind of power. Too bad : I would like a Rogue with Cosmic Power ^___^ Touching hair is enough ? I didn't know."

In Requium it is just the future of the Silver Surfer. Not cannon in the actual events but still on content.

Rouge was cool until she lost Ms.Marvel's powers....

She could still manage to get the power cosmic from a different herald...they're not all coated like the Surfer. Firelord and Terrax spring to mind. However, there does appear to be a limit to what she can absorb. She once kissed the Juggernaut, and took a portion of his power, but she wasn't as powerful as he was, and he was still super-strong afterwards, just a bit skinnier. She absorbed the Petrified Man, but he almost knocked her out he had so much power. I think the only other person I remember that was too much for her was Mojo, but that was never really explained.

Rogue was such an impressive character at a time, I wish they'd bring that back.
