Who is most like character and who most hated character in the X-Men World.

I think it will interesting to see who is the most like character and who is the most dislike character out of all the X-Men. This will help us work out who is the most popular and least popular.

So Wolverine is my favourite X-Men character and Rogue, Jean and Psylocke are my favourite ladies from the X-Men world.

The characters I dislike the most

2 All the generation Hope characters, except for Hope.

It's really strange when it comes to Emma Frost, I mean she in my top 20, of my favourite X-Men characters. I like her more than Iceman, Kitty and Archangel, but sometimes I can't stand her, she is a character I loved to hate.

Namor is a character I hate the most and Rachel & Emma are females leads I don't like that much.

I would appreciate if everyone can list there top 6 and maybe we find out who is the most popular character and the least popular character. The more characters that make the list, end up being the answers.

I don't have a specific list, I enjoy all of the more well known X-Men, by that I mean all the ones that were well known from the 60's to about 2003-05. I think I pretty much dislike most of the characters introduced after that, most of them are useless background characters...guys like Fantomex just seem like a good recurring character...not a full time member

• Magneto -Badass amongst badass.
• Havok -Another badass.
• Wolverine -It's a cliche that an X-Lover would pick Wolverine so here he is. Also, another badass.
• Cable -Another badass.
• Warpath -Another badass.

Hate:

• Morph -boring. The comic version is even more boring.
• Bishop (Post-90's) -They just ruined him.
• Jean grey (with Phoenix, without I think she's cool) -Uber powerful. IMO not cool.
• Angel -Another boring character. Archangel is the way to go.
• Magik -boring

I give full approval of this list. I agree with the lot of this, but I'm not too big on Warpath.

Nightcrawler (They killed him off because the writers were too lazy to look into his religious context and because they didn't think he was important enough. Seriously, people. There are better ways to deal with 'non-important' characters than killing them off. Honestly, what is with all these new writers? They suck.)

Emma Frost (I know. Alot of people don't like her, especially the female population. But I think she gave spice, at least in the beginning. I never really liked the Jean/Cyclops pairing, anyways. Jean deserves better.)

Storm (Does this need much explanation? She can control the weather. If that's not one of the most brilliant powers to have[On Earth], you tell me what is.)

X-23 (I can't help it. She's just a great character when there's good writers around. That's my point of view, anyway.)

Shadowcat (Stark contrast to my Emma Frost up there, ain't it? Well, what can I say. I'm a sucker for the Kitty-cat. I like her personality.)

Mystique (I love her character. She has so much potential and personality that it's just insane. Not to mention she's mother to one of my most favorite characters: Kurt.)

Disliked/Despised/Maybe I still like but it's just so overused:

Blob (He creeps me out. 'Nuff said.)

Strong Guy (I thought he was a joke. LOL.)

Wolverine (He's overused nowdays. When I put him on this list, I mean I liked him before all his publicity. You know, back in the days with good writers. His sense of humor, animalistic personality, and yet how underneath all the big bad ruff there can be a good guy there, that's the kind of Wolverine I'm talking about. Not to mention he hates Cyclops. I hate how little of people stand up to the prick; real life and Marvel U. EDIT: Okay, maybe I used the wrong words. Not overused, just published too much. In other words, I still like him, I just wish they would give other people a chance in the spotlight sometime. Chris Claremont did a good job of making sure every character got at least a little bit of stage time. Again. It all comes down to the bad writers.)

Colossus (Juggernaut enhancement. Can you say, 'ruined'? I liked him before that happened. Why do they keep spoiling characters?)

Scarlet Witch (This is kind of a love/hate character for me. I mean, I couldn't stand her when she went all, 'No more mutants', but there are just times where I can't help but like her; even if she did run thing's rampant.)

Hope Grey (Most hated character of them all. Do something, already! Kurt died because of you, but your still just sitting on your lazy a$$. Messiah? I'm still waiting to see some real action.)

- Wolverine - He was great in X-Men (1991), New X-Men, & Astonishing X-Men, but I'm not a fan of him nowadays. Maybe one day I'll find him interesting again.

Like (in no particular order)

Fantomex - Rick Remender deserves 100% of the credit for turning Fantomex into a character that I actually cared about. I think he's really well written in Uncanny X-Force: logical, cunning, and served as a good straight man for Deadpool to be Deadpool with.

Jubilee - I was a teen in the early 90s, so Jubilee was the audience surrogate when I got in the X-Men. She was the youngest, had kind of crappy powers, had ridiculous clothes and a goofy haircut. She represented every middle school kid reading that book. I'd never actually get to pal around with Wolverine (who not matter what you think now is clearly the coolest X-Man if you are 13 years old), but she could. I'm not really sure how I feel about her being a vampire, but I am glad that it seems to have brought her back into the fold.

Nightcrawler - Nightcrawler has long been one of my favorite characters. His character design and his powers were great. I also liked his back and forth quips with Wolverine.

Bishop - My favorite of all the time traveling X-Men. Bonus points for his dedication to his Jheri curl/mullet combination which he had way, way too long.

Dislike (again in no particular order)

Hellion - Dude's went from a rich stuck-up douchey frat-type guy to an angsty teen creepvert. Neither character-type is particularly appealing...

Cyclops - There is no version of this character I like. He was whiny in the 90s cartoon. He was a teacher's pet in the early comics. He was self-righteous in the later comics. There were frequent periods of being a brooding depressed guy followed by being a douche bag who abandons his wife and kid...and then he married Emma Frost.

90% of the students that were created during Grant Morrison's New X-Men run - Thank you Scarlet Witch for erasing most of these mistakes and preventing them from making future appearances in the pages of X-Men!

Cable - My least favorite of all the time traveling X-Men. Nextwave: Agents of HATE pretty much sums it up better than I could...

Like:

Nightcrawler: Me and Kurt go way back. I looked up to him a lot; he was the X-Man I most identified with. It's a long story but that's the basic gist of it. So you guys should know there was no fathoming the depths of my hatred for Uncanny X-Men #524....none. But we're happy right now so we won't go there.

Dani Moonstar: I've always liked her but ever since she lost her powers, she's become a bad bitch. <3

Bishop: I love him. As far as I'm concerned, Bishop is in space, looking for Deathbird. I don't know who that black dude was during the second half of Messiah Complex and Messiah War but he wasn't Bishop.

Psylocke: Another bad bitch. However, unlike Dani, she's sexy (and for a comic book character; that's saying something) as hell and she's a bombass telepath.

Jean Grey: The original bad bitch: I miss her so much. *wipes tear* ....Unless they can come up with an good, ORIGINAL story then anything dealing with Phoenix has got to go. Bring her back but get rid of Phoenix. Better yet. Give it to Hope so they can both get lost somewhere on the other side of the universe.

Iceman: He's just cool like that. With a good writer...

Storm: HBIC. That is all.

Shadowcat: I love her personality. Love it, love it, love it. And her powers might seem like much but they're cool as hell and they would make life a lot easier.

Beast: Love his personality too....I feel for him a lot of time, he's intelligent and I love all the quips he does (in the hands of a good writer). Plus, he's pretty good in a scrap.

Gambit: His fighting style >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> your faves. His powers by themselves are cool as hell and his personality and charm never fails to make me smirk. God, I love me some Gambit.

Rogue: See, one thing you guys have to understand about female superheroes is that there are good female heroes and there are bad bitches who are good people, can trash their male counterparts in a heartbeat without any underlying feminist propaganda and can still look good. One of the reason I love X-Men is because they are full of bad bitches. Rogue is one of them. And let's not get started on how juicy her backstory is.

Reasons- Clearly Cyclops is a mutant who is mostly hated because in avengers vs x-men he had shown desperation for phoenix force despite charles's repeated warning it would create chaos if u play with cosmic entities and he created mutant army against the humans as if he was following the same darker instincts as magneto.Even in it was proved his theory mutant messiah in the but I would say hope cannot control phoenix initially because she was just a kid but with sense of crisis and responsibilities which were taught by avengers that instilled upon her which eventually lead to mutant messiah in the end.And the main reason for hating cyclops is that even after killing charles he accepted his guilt but It did not changed his path of peace and lead to his so called mutant revolution.

To be truthfully HONEST. I LOVE all the X-men characters. Obviously my FAVORITE is Storm, but the rest I LOVE them.
