Sorry to ask what I'm sure is a very simple question....I've tried looking everywhere but can't seem to find the answer:

How did Angel get his new gold-looking wings? He mentions them in All New XMen issue #040 or #041.

I'm not sure in which actual issue or crossover it happened. Also, do they have any new abilities over his old/'natural' feather wings?
